“Right on Light Rail”
I chose this hotel because of it's location and access to transportation. I participated in the Dodge Rock N Roll Half Marathon. I was looking for an inexpensive motel on the light rail. The hotel had all points I was looking for.
“Nice area. Freindly staff”
Very nice for the price and freindly staff. I will definetly go back. For the price this place is great.

It is near the Gish light trail station. Very good position! 12 minutes to the convention center.

“San Jose Motel 6”
The weather was very cold and the room heater did not work. Told the desk clerk but it was never repaired.
“Scary Neighborhood”
While the hotel rooms was clean and well maintained the neighborhood left a lot to be desired. We arrived about 10:00 PM and followed a police car into the lot. The clerk was friendly and helpful but wouldn't let me into the lobby to registe, I had to do it from outside through a bulletproof glass window. There seemed to be a fair amount of commotion - loud voices etc. Overall an unsettling experience.
“No smoking rooms, please!”
My expectations were quite low to begin with, as I was just passing through and only needed a bed, shower and secure place to sleep for the night. I reserved a non-smoking room that was fine initially, but after about 10 minutes it became apparent that the room had been a smoking room in the not-too-distant past. The room was very stale and very smelly. As a result of the smell, I had difficulty sleeping and requested a room change. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay, but were only able to "help" my situation by spraying the room with deodorizer - effectively, swapping one smell for another. I would not stay here again.
“OK but disappointing”
Basic room to sleep in, that's about it. No shampoo, no iron, no Kleenex, WiFi not working. Sheets were clean, but showed wear and stains. Ugh. I was traveling alone for a business trip, so I could deal with it, but would not rent this for my family.
“What do you expect from Motel6”
I travel into San Jose once a week and stay here all the time, but the hotel is outdated, it is not in the nicest of areas. I have never had a problem here, but I would not bring my family here. It is ok (at best) for short term travel. Keep you expectations low when you come here, bring your own supplies, maybe you get lucky enough to get a room in a decent location and has the microwave and fridge. Most rooms have a window in the bathroom which is nice, lets in some fresh air because these rooms can use it. The staff has always been pleasant and helpful, but they really do not patrol the conduct at the hotel. Sometime it can be noisy. Usually you will find police officers in the parking lot. One time I saw one running everyone's license plate.

some rooms without microwave and ref ,very noisy ,good location ,good staff internet service is very bad . i would not reccomend it .
