“well maintained, good location”

We stayed in the hotel for 5 days for our trip to bay area and it was good overall. The room was clean , helpful staff and the hotel is in a good locaton with restuarants withing walking distance.

“Excellent Location!”

This hotel was close to Santa Clara University, where my daughter was attending a summer camp. There were restaurants nearby and the freeways and San Jose airport were within a few miles. This hotel was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would say the only thing I was disappointed about was that there was no swimming pool or fitness room, which we would have enjoyed using. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Holiday Inn near SCU”

The hotel was very clean, the rooms were small but comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was pretty good. All in all, a nice basic hotel which is very conveniently located near Santa Clara University where our son is attending.

“OK, with one notable exception”

Woman at front desk told us our second floor room was to the right of the elevator. What she DIDN'T tell us was that, after walking about 50 feet, we'd have to climb 3/4 of a flight of stairs to get to our room, which evidently was on floor 2A. Since we had 3 pieces of luggage, 2 of them weighing in at close to 50 pounds each, actually getting to the room was quite a chore. I suspect that all the "deals" they offer thru Expedia are for similarly situated rooms. Hence my low rating for the room's comfort. The room itself was quite nice. Getting there was a different matter.

“Very noisy,, lots of traffic noise, lack of maintenance”

Room was clean but maid didn't fix burned out lights, sink drained very slowly. The worst point was the traffic noise. My window was ten feet from a six lane arterial. Who needs an alarm click when traffic at six AM wakes you? The clerk should have put me in a better room given the inn wasn't fully booked. I'll never stay here again.
