“Better than what the review says”
There are a few bad reviews about the hotel and I was worried a bit when I saw the reviews after booking it. It wasn't as bad as some people says. One bad thing was that they never brought breakfast in the first morning of my stay even though it was requested. Otherwise, good place to stay. Rooms are not that big but clean, comfortable, gets the job done.
“Great staff great stay”
All of the staff were very nice and professional. A situation arose where my girlfriend and I needed special assistance and the front desk people went out of their way to help.
“Four points has definitely improved the hotel.”
Great location, clean rooms, nice decor, and helpful staff. Would love to stay here again and highly recommended.
“Comfortable and convenient in downtown San Jose”
This hotel was comfortable, convenient and quiet. I would stay there again.
“Wonderful spot!”
This is a fantastic location and a very nicely kept hotel. We enjoyed our stay!
“Well worth the money!”
Hotel in great location. The remodel is great, rooms are big and bathroom was great with a walk in shower and a tub. I will stay here again when I go to San Jose for buisness.
“Happy to stay there again.”
No big marble lobby or chandeliers, and the rooms are modest in size, but all the necessary comforts are there and it's very quiet. Super convenient for anything in Downtown San Jose.

“Great value in San Jose”
On business travel I'm always looking for value in my hotel choice. The (former) Hotel Montgomery, now Four Points Sheraton, looked good when I booked online, and I was not disappointed. It isn't huge or flashy, but is clean, very well-located to the convention center and rail line (and airport), and the staff was uniformly polite and helpful. I would definitely stay again. Oh, my only small critique would be that our room was too big! The distance from the bed to the television was further than most hotel rooms. But that was more than balanced by the great shower. (I'm tall, and prefer a tall shower--this one was).
“Great”
lovely room, loved the linens, very comfy, nice atmosphere, staff helpful when needed, would stay again, great location for my needs
