“Great hotel”

We were very pleased with this hotel. We chose it because of its close proximity to the HP Pavilion, and because of the price. We found the hotel easily and were very pleased with the front desk staff - they were courteous and helpful and checked us in quickly. They informed us that the hotel's carpet had just been cleaned so that was awesome. The hotel is a little old and dated but it is very well kept and we were very satisfied with our room. It was huge, with a small kitchenette, with more than enough room for us to set up an air mattress on the floor for one of our kids. The breakfast in the morning was great - only complaint was that for some reason there were no forks, but other than that the food was great. We would stay here again if in the area.

Everything that a traveler needed was provided. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. Each room had a jacuzzi tub. Will definitely come back.

“Loved the arena hotel”

I was pleasantly surprised when we got to the the hotel. I thought the lobby was nice and comfortable. They had a place to sit{on our floor} and meet with other people to talk etc we were there for a Metallica concert and there were several guests that were also there for the same concert so it was nice to have a place to meet up with them. The room was nice. It was within walking distance of the hp pavilion so that was the main reason I picked this hotel, but was glad I did. I would recommend it to anyone who was looking for a hotel in that area. Very satisfied customer.

“Great hotel at a good price”

Rooms include both breakfast & dinner. Breakfast was good with a lot of selections, didn't try dinner though b/c we were out sight-seeing. The location is easy to find and is within walking distance to the HP arena making this hotel a perfect choice if you are attending a Sharks game. Although the hotel is in such close proximity to the arena, don't think traffic will be a problem. Twice during our stay we were returning to the hotel when the Sharks game was about to start and we drove right through. A nice feature in the rooms is a full size fridge which allowed us to store a lot of drinks and food that we brought with us. And every room has a whirlpool tub. The hotel is close enough to visit both San Francisco (45mins) and Napa Valley (1h & 30mins). Overall...a great experience at a resonably priced rate.

“Arena Hotel, San Jose Ca.”

This hotel really amazed me. From the outside it looks so crisp and clean. While it is an old property, it had fresh flowers, paint a well kep parking court yard. The lobby was also clean and decorated in Early American style. Even the breakfast room was spotless. My room was quite different. It was long and narrow. It contained a desk, a table to sit 4, small coffee bar, couch and chairs. There was a seperate small bedroom. The bath was old but contained a wirlpool bath. For the price rhis was a great room. The price included a full breakfast and a light dinner.

We were only there for one night so did not need a pool or much space so the hotel was fine. Good location for us. Staff was helpful.
