Bel hôtel où les gens sont accueillants. Le seul point négatif est la rue passante (bruit), même la nuit.

Nous avons été surpris de l’emplacement de l’hôtel! Par contre l’intérieur est invitant et propre. Le haut de notre chambre était difficile d’accès dû au plafond très bas et escalier un peu dangereuse. Pas de savon, débarbouillette…. Point positif, le personnel est très accueillant et à l’écoute et le déjeuner très bon pour le prix que nous avons payé la chambre.

Bonne adresse pour dormir une nuit a l arrivée de votre vol. Notez que WC et salle de bain sont communes. Le petit dej est très bons. Personnel sympathique

Chambre pas propre. Toiles d’araignée dans les coins de la chambre. Nous avons vu une coquerelle dans la salle de bain. Notre chambre était à côté de la cuisine donc le bruit des assiettes nous a réveillé. Nous avons été accueillis par un homme en pyjama et pied nu. Le seul bon point est qu’il était bien situé.

La seul recommandation est de répondre plus rapidement il a fallut sonner a plus de 4 reprises avant d'etre repondu. Sa donne un sentiment d'insécurité la première fous.

Hôtel confortable près de l'aéroport
Hôtel confortable sans plus, mais propre et situé à faible distance de l'aéroport. Bon petit Resto végétarien tout près (El Chante Vegano. Environ 10 minutes en taxi pour l'aéroport le matin (2000 colónes).

Hôtel Pacandé est un B&B à une quinzaine de minutes de l'aéroport d'Alajuela. Le proprio ainsi que son personnel est très dévoué.

Booked a room with window and private bath. Checked in paid and was taken to a small room with no window and shared bath. I have stayed at the Pacande multiple times over 15 years and have never been treated this way. Pacande has changed in the last couple years for the worse. Will not recommend or stay here any more. Better hotels are a available for same price in the area.

No Sr.Yes was our mistake to change the room for another one that was no the one you booked, but you booked a room with shared bathroom.And we still did as possible we can with you trying to give you another room in other hotel but your actitude was rude!We are really sorry for this inconvenient, sometimes problems happens because we are humans and as you said, you were here many times before and that never happens, we will keep improving our service but you are wrong with this comentary. Other costumers can read anothers reviews and compare that. Our balance is totally positive, the Best in the City comparing same level hotel.

Very welcoming and hopeful staff. We stayed here after arriving in San Jose at midnight. Somebody was waiting for us at the door with a smile, and served us a sweet breakfast in the morning. Great place.

Cuando nos entregaron la habitación estaba Sucia y en desorden. La joven de recepción tuvo que limpiarla ya que no había otra disponible. Lo que le tardó como 45 minutos. Estabamos tan cansados que nos dormimos en sillas de recepción.

Nice little place to stay for a few days while exploring San Jose. We called it our treehouse. Very close to everything, staff is very kind and helpful. Great bakery just around the corner to pick up amazing goodies. Lovely breakfast at the hotel in the am. They will arrange a shuttle to and from the airport for you. $20USD for our group of 5. $10USD for the way back to the airport!the beds were clean. The only complaint I do have is that our bathroom didn’t feel clean at all. Otherwise, we loved it.

This place just feels nice. The staff made sure we had a shuttle from the airport. I felt very taken care of. The rooms are comfortable and well decorated. I will be staying here again.

We stayed one night—clean & big room. Daniel arranged the shuttle service from the airport, the driver was good and Daniel ordered dinner from a restaurant for us. Good breakfast. Great place to stay near SJO!

For the price and the location, this place is just average. It is only a ten minute Uber ride or 8.oo by red taxi. I liked staying here because it was so close to the airport and only a 7 minute taxi back to the rental car area to get a car. The breakfast was good and the staff are all kind, but the area around here is kind of sketchy. There are bars on all the windows and it makes one feel unsafe, but this hotel only has one way to get in, and they keep it secure. We felt safe here once inside, but walking around outside was done with caution, but then again, your in San Jose, so everywhere feels sketchy.

Justo para el precio, no probé el desayuno ya que mi vuelo salía mucho antes. El personal super amable y con disposición a ayudar. Las puertas hacen mucho ruido, el baño que compartes con otros huéspedes también hace ruido, básicamente sabes que alguien va pasando y quién va al baño por el exceso ruido de las puertas. Las ventanas no asislan el sonido y al menos donde me quedé, la puerta estaba como pegada entonces se escuchaba demasiado abrirla y para cerrarla había que empujarla.

Hotel a buen precio , tenia desayuno incluido. Esta muy cerca del hotel, lo recomiendo si lo usas para llegada o salida del pais o si vas de paso. Lo unico que no me gusto es por que dice que tienen estacionamiento y no tienen. Pero hay estacionamiento a 2 cuadras pero es gasto extra.

Good value for money when you’re jet lagged
It’s a nice family run hotel. We have had enough space for our family of 5. The walls are thin so you hear the noises from early on ((5-6), which wasn’t so much of a problem for us being jet lagged coming from Europe. Good breakfast, helpful staff. It wasn’t the cleanest place but overall good value for money.

Centrally located. A bit of heavy traffic getting to the El Centro, but close to the airport. Breakfast is included at a VERY reasonable cost for the entire stay.

The lovely staff are what make this property so special. Very helpful and accommodating. They take the time to explain everything to you. Breakfast was a delicious traditional Costa Rican breakfast of eggs, rice & beans, coffee, fruit.

There is a huge misunderstanding about the services: there is ice, and coffee at the kitchen (made by the fridge and a coffee maker), but there is no coke machine or an ATM inside the hotel. Those services were not specified in our website, or Expedia; and even the services that we could offer, like the ice and the coffee could have been provided, but you did not ask for them.We are so sorry for the communication issue. Our staff is always ready to help in a gently way, and this could have been the same for you.
