The hotel has a beautiful pool area, a full restaurant with a excellent menu and affordable rates. WIFI and rooms with kichenette are available. Recently remodeled offers all the amenities of a modern hotel, with the charm of a small property. Bilingual staff is available 24/7. Free parking and an excellect location to take the main highways to the mountains and beaches.
The hotel also offers small meeting facilities, room service and it is walking distance of several banks, museums and the biggest park in the city, La Sabana.

“Hotel Colaye”
The hotel is very well located in San Jose. Sabana Park is just a block away which is excellent for running on the morning (don't go at night). There is also a quick market at the corner which is open until midnight. Breakfasts are ok. The room was clean and the rates are not expensive. There is also decent Internet speed. I recommend this hotel for short stays and if you do not want to pay too much.
“Great choice at an affordable price”
This hotel exceeded our expectations. Exceptionally clean rooms and beds are extremely comfortable. Gerald (Front desk) was really helpful in booking tours. A great choice at a great price!
“Good medium range hotel”
Room was very clean and nicely furnished. The restaurant had good reasonably priced food. However there was constant very noisy maintenance work going on outside for the 3 days I was there. There was also a lot of noise from large groups of teenagers during the evening and night in the hallways and lobby with seemingly no supervision by adults or comment from the hotel staff.

the hotel is well situated in the city but difficil to find mthe fact the is not any advertise on side of the street, even the taxi driver was not sure about it. Hotel confortable, wifi sometime slow but workinng anytime, stayed five days so breakfeast should be different it's always the same everdays. Room 113 was quiet during the days but when people check in or out at the eveniing or early in the morning allways (corridor) is loadly, necessite insulation or someting to absorb the noice. Rather than that was good.

Staff was very pleasant and hotel was clean, but need to have someone to monitor breakfeast.
“Don't Get Room 111”
The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to do anything you needed. The room we had was unbelievably noisy, room 111 The music they had piped in the halls was very loud. I think the farther away from the lobby the better. The commuter train starts very early in the morning. Between 4:00 and 5:00. You might need ear plugs.
“Hotel OK only if you run on a tight budget”
The room was OK for the price. The only thing thaf I didn't realy like was that I fond the room to be poorly isolated so I could hear lots of noises, from people walking outside the corridor, to people talking outside by the pool, and that boadered me a lot.
