“A place where you can relax”
Very nice hotel, right next to the airport with very considerate personnel. A place where you can let down your cares while you prepare for your visity to Costa Rica. Could not think of anything to improve. Up to anyone's standard.
“Best Bet”
The hotel is 5 minutes away from the airport and the complimentary shuttle runs every 15 minutes 24 hrs. a day. The central town of Alajuela is 5 minutes away by taxi. Coffee, tea , hot cocoa is free. Breakfast is free and goody bags are prepared for you if you have an early departure. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful.
“Good choice in San Jose Area”
Great hotel. Free calls to the US were appreciated. Free shuttle service to the airport and incredibly close location to the airport. Nice to be in a hotel with the creature comforts you would expect in the US while travelling abroad. Breakfast was good. Staff spoke great English as well. Expensive though...
“February 2011 Hampton Inn Stay (San Jose, CR)”
Very clean hotel, great location close to teh airport with free shuttle buses that run constantly. Free international calls and free breakfast in the AM as well. Right across the parking lot from the Fiesta casino and a Denny's.
“Perfect first and last night in Costa Rica”
We stayed here for the first and last night of our trip because our flight in was a red eye and our flight out was practically at dawn. Both times, our rooms were very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were helpful and gracious. I would readily stay there again.
“Parfait pour rester pres de l'aeroport de San Jose”
Tres bon hotel pres de l'aeroport de San Jose Nous sommes restes deux fois, a notre arrivee et a notre depart de San Jose. Les deux fois, c'etait parfait. Tres bon accueil, chambres assez grandes et comfortables, en tres bon etat. Il y a plusieurs loueurs de voiture juste en face de l'hotel. Deux restaurants sont tres proches a pied. Parking a voitures surveille. Je le recommande.
“Just what we needed”
We needed a place to stay after arriving in San Jose at night on an international flight, before leaving on a SANSA flight the next morning. The free shuttle was convenient. One of the taxi attendants outside the arrivals area helped us call the hotel to send the shuttle. Service was friendly, hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast being included was also nice. As was the free wireless internet. A great place for an overnight stay while traveling through San Jose. Would definitely stay here again.
“We love it!”
Always our first night and last night in Costa Rica. My wife calls it the "Trump Towers of Costa Rica". She may be a bit overboard, but the people are terrific, the rooms are clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. The Breakfast Buffet is to everything you will need to get your day started. I also love the free phone calls back to the USA and the free WIFI.
“Close to airport and free shuttle service”
This was a very clean and comfortable hotel that provides free shuttle service to/from airport,free hot breakfast.The staff contacted the rental car company to pick us up and we were on our way without any problems! We have stayed at this hotel several times (one night at time), whenever we fly into or leave San Jose and the flights are too early / late to make it from the coast.This trip we didn't get thru customs until almost 2AM,so there wasn't a hotel shuttle but they did pay for the taxi to the hotel and expedia made sure the hotel knew we had a late check in.All in all this was a very pleasant experience and the hotel was close to the airport and rental car company ,which made it very easy to get on our way in the morning.
“Relaxing environment before taking off”
The hotel is situated really close to the airport of San José and has a shuttle bus to take you there. It's very convenient to stay there the night before you take off. The hotel is clean, spacious and the rooms are well equiped with a marvelous bed. There are 2 restaurants in walking distance and the Fiesta casino which is worth to visit.
