Notre chambre nous offrait une vue sur le jardin/piscine un très bel espace. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le Kitchen restaurant et le bar qui donne sur la vallée d’Escazu au pied de la montagne. Le déjeuner complet et le choix des menus était excellent et savoureux bon rapport qualité prix. Le service d’Eddy Calonso à la salle à manger à été très apprécié bonne humeur et belle attention. Excentré de la ville dans un quartier industriel vous trouverez à pied un dépanneur et un resto italien de bon goût ...une voiture facilite les déplacements nous y retournerions sans hésiter

Hôtel très cher pour ce que c'est.. Très loin d'être un 4 étoiles. J'ai été dérangé des 8h30 par des toquements de porte. Le restaurant de sushi est tout simplement scandaleux ! 5 dollars le Niggiri saumon (la pièce) Si encore j'étais sur le toit d'un building à New York avec des stripteseuse pourquoi pas .. Besoin d'une grande rénovation, j'ai eu l'impression de dormir dans un dojon.

Excellent séjour dans un bel hôtel. 2 regrets : - Le WiFi n'est pas gratuit, c'est donc un moyen dissimulé d'augmenter le prix de la chambre. -J'aurai également apprécié que les bagages soient portés jusque dans la chambre.

We stayed here the last night of our honeymoon. Roberto found out and gave us a beautiful room. Then Sofia, Shar, and Caleb left us a little gift with a note. It was the first time I saw my married name in print. We’re so grateful for the extra efforts. The grounds were beautiful and the bedding was comfortable, so we had a great stay.

The verandas were incredibly comfortable. The views of the mountains were lovely, and the presence of playful parrots was so fun. The spa was terrific. The pool area was fun and lots of space for sunbathing.

This property is gorgeous...has old world charm and maintained very well. The staff all know English or try their best and they also frequently check in about your stay. There are several restaurant experiences to choose from and they accept the dollar. I would absolutely stay here again!

Extremely disappointed with the hotel's airport transportation service. Despite booking in advance, the shuttle never arrived, leaving me stranded for over an hour. This lack of reliability from the management was deeply disappointing and significantly impacted my stay.

Beautiful hotel but disastrous food!
Beautiful hotel with many amazing details. Large comfortable room with a great view. BUT....the food was atrocious. We waited for dinner for one hour and we were then served a very tepid soup and a totally uncooked (& cold) pasta dish. We sent it back and it was returned hotter but still inedible. The waiter did not charge for it, which was kind of him.

We stayed for one night before our departure the next morning. The resort is an oasis of luxury in not a very desirable area. Aside from convenience to the airport, the location has nothing much to offer. You certainly wouldn't leave the premises for an evening stroll. Once ensnared, customers have no where else to go. The hotel seems to take advantage of these circumstances and their clientele to charge truly extravagant prices in their restaurant with poor (_slow_) service and subpar food that is cold on arrival. It was actually the worst dining experience we had in all of our stay in Costa Rica. It seems like the lack of any local competition provides no incentive to focus on the quality of the customer experience. I'm sorry then to not provide a strong recommendation.

This hotel was like a resort. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were many things to do on site such as pool, restaurants, spa, driving range, tennis court and gift shop. Pros: -many amenities -nice staff -clean comfortable rooms -free juices, bar tending class, movie nights, etc Cons: -its very windy so sitting outside or playing tennis was difficult -the airport shuttle only runs a few times a day and doesnt run later in the evening -not many vegan options and no vegan desserts -bathroom has a barn door which never shuts properly and has a large gap between the wall and the door. There is no privacy. The door is also frosted so getting up in the middle of the night to use the washroom is disturbing to others. Get rid of these! -no fridge or microwave in the room. We had many leftovers and snacks but nowhere to keep them -poolside chairs are a little old -Uber is cheaper than taxi to get to the airport and downtown. Would have been nice to have a shuttle to downtown or the mall
