“We wouldn't choose no where else”

We were welcome there very nicely and the rooms were very clean and housekeeping was very nice and always on time.The hotel was in the ideal spot for shopping.

“Balmoral Solid Hotel”

I have stayed here twice. The reason I like this hotel is the service, and its location. It is right on central avenue and it has a great bar that looks on to the street and a it also has decent restaurant. The restaurant is an open patio that lets the custumer observe daily life in San Jose. There is a very nice pharmacy adjecent to the restaurant and the hotel. The rate provided by Expedia was the main reason for my choosing this hotel. The only set back to the hotel are the rooms. They are in need of a makeover, nontheless, for the price and location one can overlook this inconvenience. The hotel also has a nice store that sells jewlery and other fine gifts. The gym needs a makeover also, get your workouts walking. I would stay here again.

“Good hotel in a good location”

The hotel is nice and the staff was EXTREMELY helpful with helping my to make bus reservations, excursion reservation, etc. It's in a safe (enough) area with a lot of pedestrian traffic and restaurants. The wifi was free and worked well, however the second night i stayed there, there was no hot water in the morning. Breakfast was good and free!

Balmoral Hotel in San Jose is in reasonably good condition and located in an excellent location for walking in the city. All personnel we met were courteous and helpful.

excellent hotel,location,service,staff,front disk (Adrianna is the best),resturant,price. Furnetuer in rooms kind of old but this is I guess the style of the hotel.I loved it and I will stay there again for sure.

“A Clean and Well Maintained Downtown Hotel”

clean hotel with good food, especially the breakfast buffet nice and very helpful staff would recommend this hotel who wants to be downtown close to all of the action like shopping, museums etc

“Modern & Convenient”

For central San Jose, the Balmoral is an excellent choice. The staff is very professional & accommodating. Great location within walking distance of several museums and markets. The Patio bar and cafe are popular spots. Overall great experience. Minor exceptions: no security safe nor luggage rack in the suite.
