“Un hôtel bien situé.”

Interet essentiel : Très bien situé à 200 m du Pier 39, centre du Fishermann Wharf, en plein coeur donc de la zone touristique du bord de mer de San Francisco (restaurants typiques de fruits de mer, depart des croisières et du ferry vers sausalito, cable-car etc). L'endroit reste cepandant calme. Les prestations globales sont celles d'un bon motel, avec peut-etre un parking (gratuit) un peu petit. Très bon accueil. A recommander entre autre pour un séjour bref (2 3 jours) en début et/ou en fin de séjour dans la région.

“Wharf Inn (3/15/09 thru 3/19/09)”

First of all, if you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth, do not stay here. What you will find is an older motel that has been adequately maintained. The staff was friendly, and you will have trouble finding a place with free parking this close to fisherman's wharf and centrally located. We were in town for a pleasure trip. We walked and took cable cars the first day and toured Alcatraz. The second day we walked right behind our motel (less than 1/2 city block) and rented a vehicle from Enterprise Car Rental. I found this to be another plus for the location of the hotel to pick up and drop off a vehicle. What you get is a reasonably priced, clean motel room. So bottom line, I recommend if you are easy going and don't get uptight if everythings isn't just perfect for you. Each room has a thermostat to control heat and cooling, however, management has master control of the units and you may have to tell them when it is to hot or cold in your room as they turn it off sometimes for whatever reason. They were good about turning it on when our room got a little chilly.

Clean, great location, great service. We were very pleased to be able to park our car until 5:00 p.m. on the day of our checkout. We were looking for a place with parking and didn't want to pay extra somewhere else for the amenities we knew we weren't going to use anyway (gym, pool, etc.) and this hotel gave us just what we wanted - a clean room and parking.

The hotel is old, but well kept. Beds and pillows are the best! Great location. Easy walk to Fisherman's Wharf and attractions. Staff were very friendly and most helpful. Hotel staff can help you with tourist attractions and at a discount.
