“Unique Hotel”

This was a great little find. It is unique and was quite nice. The people are friendly and very helpful. I know this might sound funny but the hotel did not have a typical hotel smell. It smelled very pleasant and not like harsh cleaning products. I would stay there again.

“What a Surprise!”

We had a layover on our trip back from Cabo and my wife and three kids were really just looking for a close hotel to the airport. Let's just say that our expectations were not high during our short drive to the hotel. However, once we stepped out of the free shuttle cab and into the lobby our spirits were lifted! The place was exceptionally nice, clean, new and the staff was the best! The rooms were luxurious and the beds and mattresses were awesome! This might be sounding a bit too "pollyanna", but truthfully, this place was great! My wife and I are planning on going back soon!

“Superb hotel in an ideal location”

This hotel really pampers you with thick white towel robes, beautifully appointed rooms, helpful staff and many features one would wish to find. The facilities are second to none, complimentary breakfasts, unlimited web access on each floor with wi-fi built into the rooms; telephone in your room; too many TV channels to choose from; air conditioning, double glazed; swimming pool etc. etc. The only drawback is the flight noise but you get used to it. The staff are extremely helpful with tourists suggestions and where to eat and what to do. Can't recommend highly enough. It's only 10 minutes drive from San Francisco International and is really easy to find.

“Overall very nice value”

Very comfortable, stylish room. Enjoyed getting a glass of wine on arrival. Breakfast nothing special, and the receptionist did not know directions for anything--they seemed a little short-staffed, but I only stayed one day. The price was excellent, however.

“Good airport hopper stay”

We looked for a decent hotel by the airport for convenience of early depature. The hotel is new and looks it. Very clean. The room was good size with all the amenities which made for a good night sleep. Price was reasonbable and cheaper than the larger hotels nearby. A perfect rest stop. We would stay there again.

This is the second time I have stayed there and it is clean and comfortable. I would say luxury with out the lux price.

“Great Hotel”

Very easy to find once off the San Bruno bridge. Very close to airport and to shopping mall and restaurants. Parking included. On arrival there were fresh just baked chocolate chip cookies, still hot from the oven and coffee etc. Wonderful friendly staff. Great hotel, only 2.5 years old and in immacluate condition. Rooms are small but very nicely appointed and great bathroom. Plenty of room for two large suitcases in the entry area to the room. Beds are very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. They also have transport to the airport and only a 10 min trip to the Car rental return at the airport. Local area has good shopping mall and couple good restaurants. Breakfast room is very clean and nicely presented. Your typical hotel complimentary breakfast. Waffle machine, fresh coffee, toast, fruit, yoghurt & cereals. All you need but nothing exciting. Nothing within walking distance for food so at least it is something.

Villa Montes Hotel is a gem. I was seeking something south of San Francisco, with lower cost and without the burden of paying on top for daily parking, like they all charge up in the city. Villa Montes fit this need perfectly. Situated on a drab and ordinary section of El Camino Real in San Bruno, the pleasure is when you go inside. Not a motel, this is a genuine hotel in terms of the quality of the rooms. Excellent, civil, comfortable rooms, with many elegant touches. You are just not paying for extra stuff in the hotel (there is not much) nor parking nor paying for an elegant neighborhood. What you get is a relaxing, inviting, excellent room. Wifi, full breakfast, pleasant staff. Upscale comfort, without expensive glitz. A few blocks to get over to hwy 101 then you can drive anywhere. Recommended.

“Perfect!”

Truly, everything about this hotel was perfect. It's close to the airport and car rentals. It's close to the 101 to go to San Francisco. We also spent a day in San Jose and the Santa Cruz mountains and were so relieved we didn't stay in downtown San Francisco as the drive would have been so much longer! So perfect location, perfect price, and such a charming and comfortable place. The room was so nicely decorated. They played music lightly in the halls. The bed was so comfortable. The shower was nice. They had a flatscreen in our room and a DVD player. They made the most wonderful cookies every day, we had the most wonderful waffles at the complimentary breakfast every morning, and they had 24 hour room service that could be ordered from a couple of off-site restaurants (there was a 45 minute wait for the food). They also had free internet usage on every floor.
