“Overall: good”

Hotel's overall rating: very good. You could specify some small "buts" like adfitional cost of parking (13.8 per night) or rather poor breakfast. All in all, I would recommend it.

“Reasonable and convenient”

This hotel was fine for us. Close to the attractions we wanted to see (Fisherman's Wharf) and with parking. They have three parking lots. We were told that even if we arrived late, there would be space for us. The room was large, quiet (double pane windows) and the beds were comfortable. I'd stay there again.

“Best Kept Secret in San Francisco”

This hotel was the best value of our trip. The staff was extremely friendly, the room was very large for the price, and unlike most economical hotels in the city, it had air conditioning (which was very important in the heat wave). It's within 2 blocks of at least 5 bus lines, yet it's very quiet. Parking was a VERY (comparatively) affordable $11 a night. STAY HERE!

“Good front desk”

It's kind of old hotel spit into 2 buildings but it's clean and great location. I don't care to pay for parking since it's regular charge for hotel in town whenever I go. Front desk guy (he came from NY) is very helpful, spent time recommending us where to start our trip.

“Will check availability next time”

Some friends and I needed a place to stay for the night on our trip to San Francisco, and I was surprised to find an open room right by Fisherman's Wharf (especially for so little money). We got there in the evening, claimed a parking spot (about $12) and went out to enjoy the city. The bed was clean and extremely comfortable. I plan on looking this hotel up next time I go to San Francisco.

“UNBEATABLE VALUE FOR THE PRICE!!!”

This Travelodge exceeded my expectations by far. Some of the other reviews made me worry but after staying, I was very pleased. I think the customer service exceeded some of the bigger hotels I've stayed in (and I have traveled all across the U.S. and stayed in many hotels and motels.) They set me up with a tour of the city and a shuttle back to the airport. I called down to the desk for a few pillows and they had them at my door with in 3 minutes. The room I had was a big one and it had a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge. This hotel was very close to all of the citys attractions. The bus picked up right around the corner which was very easy. The cable cars were only a few streets away as was fishermans wharf. I will be staying here everytime I go to San Francisco from now on. Overall I was very pleased with my room and the very helpful front desk. They really made my trip to San Francisco a great one!

“good, reliable hotel”

We were glad to stay in a room at the back of the complex (away from the main road) as it was quite quiet. Clean room. They let us park on our check out day until 3pm. Great orange juice at breakfast!
