I was concerned about the shared bathroom, but it was always available, or quickly became available. The room has a sink, TV with cable and remote, and towels are provided, along with personal soap and shampoo. The room was nice and clean. The price was very good for being next to the Moscone Center.

the staff was very attentive but the place is very bad, everything smelled of pee and cigarettes, it looked very dirty and it was noisy all the time the smell was so bad that we almost couldn't stay at the place

I was very pleased with what I got for the price I paid! But everyone should be aware, this is an older building and sound travels through the walls. There is a bar on the ground floor that did not close up until 2 AM. So getting a good night of sleep before then is hard!

Check in was quick and easy. Everyone was nice and friendly. Very clean. I would definitely recommend and stay there again! Don't hesitate to ask questions. I had a sink issue that I tried to fix on my own for forever.. but the staff member offered me a solution in seconds! Great service

Good place to stay (sf standards) during low budget trips. No elevator access, building is old but rooms are nicely renovated and clean. Common areas are clean and well maintained. This is one of the better low cost options if you need a low budget SF stay.

I liked this room, but it was very hot in San Francisco and I either need to leave the window open or the fan on and in both cases this made the curtains blow up so it cut down on my privacy

I did not enjoy this night spend here. It is very unsafe and nosy. Was very cold in the night. I found sperm on the bathroom wall. This was my first experience like this and i ll be more carefull next time.

I loved the friendly staff that were always proactive to assist. Ms.Floral was helpful in getting us booked tours of our interest. Breakfast was good. The room was clean and neat. The location of the hotel was perfect for my trip.

Its alright to be honest for the price compared to the other hotel i slept European something.. toilet and shower are in separate room which is good. They give you towels, soap, shampoo and hairdryer available. Also you have sink in the room too to clean face hands. The only issue is that its noisy from the highway. Personally I slept well but this depends on person. Overall good hotel for the price.

It's exactly what you'd expect for the price in downtown S.F.: affordable room, close to the waterfront and the ballpark, shared bathrooms and shower, a little dated. Like most downtowns there's sketchy people nearby ... an obvious drugged out person attempted to break into our rental car in the morning. Not the hotel's fault, but definitely bring all your belongings inside during your stay. Good staff, easy to check in and out, a nice, fun bar/diner downstairs, and the rooms are small but serviceable for a couple people just looking for the location. A solid 4/5 stars.

the Utah is an older hotel but it's a budget stay. The room was clean and it did the job for a single male staying in the city for a night. Nothing fancy but it has a charm to it. Highly recommend checking out the bar downstairs. Great staff at both.
