Great location...wonderful staff. Hotel bar could be a bit livelier (I.E..have a live band or music on Fridays/Saturdays.

“Pleasant experience”

After reading some of the reviews on this hotel, I was a bit worried about what we would find once we got to the hotel, but from the moment we arrived until the minute we left, we could not have asked for a nicer, cleaner, and more accomodating place to spend our vacation in San Francisco. I would recommend this hotel to couples or people on business to the city. The location was another major plus. It's near many prime locations and the cablecars are right outside the door. If I ever go back to SF, I will book a room at this hotel.

This hotel is located about 4 blocks away from union square, and is in walking distance from the Montgomery BART station (be warned: its a steep walk). The concierge was extremely helpful from getting a rental car, to recommending places to visit and eat. The nice thing about this hotel is that its not terribly big, so services are always available.

Whteher you are a first-time visitor, or a veteran, this hotel has a great location. I know that the cable cars tend to be crowded, but since this hotel is located where all 3 cable car lines intersect, it is easy to get anywhere quickly.

The hotal staff was so nice and made us feel right at home. Anything that we needed or asked for we got. The next time we are in SF we will stay at this hotel.

The room was gorgeous and view of city was stunning! Hotel staff were very courtious and made my boyfriend and I feel like we were among the rich and famous. Deffintly hope to visit again soon!

“Great for Business on a Budget”

Booking the hotel with my flight through Expedia landed me one of the cheapest 4-star rooms ever! The hotel is lovely, the staff is professional, the location is great, the rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable and the price can't be beat. Plus a (small) fitness center and complimentary coffee delivered to your room each morning!

“England visitor recommends this hotel”

The hotel's room was great - the beds were the most comfortable we've exoerienced. The location is right on the junction of two cable cars, and although busy, we always managed to get on one without any serious wait. The food is fantastic and the staff knowlegable, friendly and helpful.
