“Heaven in San Francisco”

The St. Regis was incredible, everything I expected it to be. The people were very helpful and delightful in every way. It is very pricey in general, but if you're looking for the best in every way, it is the perfect place to spend a special time or event. We were very pleased with our stay there.

The Hotel is very classey. Everyone is so professional and nice.The bellmen look so good in there uniforms.The room was simply beautiful and romatic. I loved the way the bathroom is set up. The bed was great. Can't wait to return.

“San Fran. visit”

Hotel was tough to get to due to the traffic. But once you are there it is a gorgeous hotel. We had the deluxe rooms and they did not disappoint. Very clean room and very professional staff. I definitely recommend this hotel.

“Great Room - Dysfunctional breakfast service”

Everything was fabulous EXCEPT the breakfast service. The wait staff was dysfunctional; waited more than 20 minutes on 2 consecutive days for any interaction with the wait staff. After complaining, the manager (?) took the wrong order. Really pathetic!!

“Not what I expected from the Regis!”

The hotel atmosphere was super cold including the staff and decoration. My room had the worst view. Close to the spa and I can hear the doors and the ring of the elevator. Not the best location you have to walk for a while to get to union square or embarcadero. I asked for an upgrade for my anniversary but although the hotel was empty they wanted to charge me extra! The valet takes long! Not what I expected from the Regis.

“Loved it!”

When my husband and I were checking in, the woman at the front desk asked us where we were from (we are somewhat local) and we mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary. Shortly after checking in we received champagne and truffles with a note of congratulations, which I thought was a very nice touch. As other people had mentioned, our control panel for the room was not working and someone from Engineering had to come fix it, it was then I was told that you could control everything manually too, which would have been fine. Another point that keeps coming up is the fact that it was noisy. I didn't notice ANY hotel noise whatsoever, however there were a lot of fire engine sounds coming from the street, but I've spent a lot of time in San Francisco and NYC and I just feel like it's part of staying in the city, it didn't bother me at all. Overall our stay was excellent and I would stay there again.
