“An Unexpected Treat”

Was here on business for one day. What an unexpected treat. If you want to experience how old SF felt like, come here. The facility was clean and beautiful. They even have a hot tub in a lovely garden setting which I used before going to bed and when i awoke. The staff was great. Breakfast was superb. Coffee, tea, brandy was served all day. Drinking water dispensers were every where. The roof top deck had killer views and wireless access. This was truely an unexpected treat. I will be staying here in the future.

“A fun experience”

This was one of the few places I could find for my business trip when all the other hotels were filled by a convention. Very close to the BART and public bus, and an interesting neighborhood that I never found uncomfortable. The hotel was a great find for being so unique and laid-back, and the interior decor is incredible. I wish it had a larger television and better WIFI (I had to use my computer in the first floor drawing rooms--but there are worse inconveniences in life). Very affordable, great breakfast. Definately will stay there again.

“Inn sweet Inn”

This is a gem of a find. If you are looking to stay somewhere with a little character then the Inn of SF is your place. Staying at the Inn help made our trip something special.

“Good hotel with lots of character”

I would highly recommend the Inn in San Fran....the staff were really helpful and recommended great places to eat nearby. The hotel itself was full of character, a treasure trove of antiques, the garden was beautiful and they have a roof terrace with an amazing view of the whole city. The bedrooms were decorated indivdually, really quirky...It felt like we were staying at a friends home rather than a hotel. The only down point was the size of the 'cozy' room - it's very cozy! I wouldn't book the cozy room again if I returned. The location was great - the Mission district has lots of good places to hang out...Valencia was a really good street for vintage shopping. I hope to return soon!

“Beautiful spot in the Mission”

The parlors (and my room) were beautifully (antiquely) appointed. The garden was very inviting, and the roof deck offered spectacular views of the city. The staff was friendly and efficient.

“Inn”

Gorgeous SF property that has been immaculately restored. Bed in my room seemed to balloon in the centre and shower was tricky to get hot-cold balance right. Friendly staff, great ambience, lots of good magazines and newspapers, rooftop deck and view is wonderful. Corn quiche at breakfast was nice but coffee was so-so. Recommended.

“Unique and fun place to stay”

Awesome rooftop views, comfortable, unique place to stay. Very homey and welcoming. A nice change from the corporate hotel visit, a taste of historic San Francisco.
