“Amazing Hotel”

A fantastic hotel. The service was exceptional, the view amazing. The rooms were large with a huge walk-in closet. I will return again very soon.

“One of the best!”

Can't go wrong with the Fairmont. A landmark in San Francisco and a tribute to what hotel customer service should be. Was very comfortable there and close to most parts of the city you'd want to go to. Only one slight downside, not too many things included with your room rate. For example: want to work out? $15/day. Want breakfast? $25 - 45, etc. Services that many hotel offer complimentary these days...

The Fairmount is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. First class across the board. Gotta Love it.

“great trip”

just got back from spending 5 days in san francisco and it was amazing the hotel was great we got upgraded to a suite which was awesome it was nice clean and spacious, we also enjoyed hanging out in the lobby which was beautifully decorated for Christmas, the only downside was going up that hill at the end of day but honestly you get used to it:)

We really enjoyed our stay at the Fairmont San Francisco. The hotel is beautiful and elegant throughout, and our room was well appointed. Service was at the level you would expect from a prestigous establishment, and if we had any questions about the city we could rely on the head concierge, who founded the US branch of Les Clefs D'Or. A nice central location for both downtown and the sights. Don't miss out on the delightfully kitschy Tonga Room in the basement.

“Impressive Hotel”

We booked the hotel through Expedia and got a great package deal. Pretty much free lodging at the Fairmont. Would definately go again. Some bad parts of town. Be familiar. The hotel is at the top of Nob hill so no matter where you go you'll have to come back up. It's pretty steep, Rice-a -Roni commercial steep.

“Great Hotel Excellent Price”

My one stay at the Nob Hill's Fairmont in San Francisco was excellent. The hotel is grand and beautiful, and lives up to its reputation as an old style hotel with historical significance. The room was large ( huge bathroom could be modernized), the elevators were appropriately old school and charming, and the common areas were elegant and grand. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel, including the low price (about 50% less than the published rates) I received from Expedia. Hotel is in the center of the city close to everything.

“amazing start to our honeymoon”

everything about the hotel was amazing. parking was pretty expensive, but thats expected in the city, the room service was quick and delicious, the view was perfect, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean.
