“Cheap, but just right!”
Right in the heart of downtown and as cheap for two people as staying at a hostel. For two friends on a budget, this was the place to go, and I'd definitely go back. It's a little small and there are absolutely no frills, but WHO CARES? You are in San Francisco? You won't be in your room anyway! The people were nice, we made some friends in the breakfast room, and everything is very clean.
“Super *”
Served its purpose beautifully. Thanks to the great staff!
“Très bien”
Très sympa et proche du centre
“good place for families and international travelers”
My mother, my two girls, and I arrived in the middle of a downpour. The hotel staff was wonderful, got our car parked, our room was ready, and they were attentive throughout our stay. The hotel is superbly located, near the Hilton and several pricier hotels. The only issues we had were the rickety elevator which seemed to be on the verge of collapse (my two girls took the stairs, they were afraid) and that the ice machine was not working, so I had to go to the convenience store in the rain (one of my daughters has a stress fracture that needed icing). but the breakfast was good, the price great, and overall, we will stay there again.
“Good mid-level experiece”
The hotel provided everything I need in a room away from home: hot shower, comfortable, clean bed.
“I will stay there in every trip to SF”
This is a place where you can find what you need for a trip
“Best affordable place in downtown San Francisco”
The hotel is very convenient to walk to downtown and public transportation to get anywhere around the city. The rooms are very small, only a double bed for me and my daughter, but it was comfortable. We had our own bathroom with a shower. There was free wireless internet, as all Super 8s we've been to so far. There was also a nice Continental breakfast on the 6th floor. We called a van at the airport, which took us right to the hotel. There's a link on the hotel's internet site to call a 1-800 number for a slightly more inexpensive van. It's in Union Square, but maybe also Japantown, with great Japanese restaurant all around. I would definitely stay there again--clean, convenient, breakfast included.
“bien pour le prix mais un peu bruyant la nuit”
Chambre un peu étroite mais correcte pour le prix. bonne situation géographique. Personnel serviable
“Very well located, good services”
This hotel is a little bit old but cozy. It's very located in the center of San Francisco, closed to transportation, shopping... There is an internet access so it's very practical. The breakfast is also included. I recommend it to anyone who would to stay for vacation in SFO.
“Cheap downtown hotel - nothing special but worth it”
This is a nothing-special hotel that offers cheap rooms in an EXPENSIVE city. The room was small, the bed comfortable, and the shower had hot water. If you're looking for an amazing hotel experience, this isn't for you. If you're looking for a cheap, basic solution, this is definitely for you. Staff was friendly enough, valet parking (in and out options) for a decent price, and a moderately meager breakfast. I'd go back.
