“Great choice for families”

Nice Hotel, great location, especially with kids. Close to Pier 39 and the Sea Lions, but far enough away that it's quiet. They gave us a great deal on parking too! They were prompt with extra towels, and fixed our air conditioner very quickly when it had a problem. We picked it because it had a pool for the kids. Glad we made the choice. Would be fine for couples too!

“VERY unimpressed with new decor!”

This is my 3rd time at this Hotel. I am very disappointed with the new decor - so plastic and Ikea-like. It used to be so elegant and homey. Whomever decided on the change to stripes, circles and squares and plastic made a strange decision. Even my 2 teen grandkids made comments about it. I am hoping someone will eventually make the decision to go back to the "old" look. Other than that, the service, cleanliness, etc was great. The pool and firepits were so nice and we enjoyed them alot.. Before next year's trip, I will check first to see if any changes have been made.

“Bright and clean hotel.”

We thought the hotel was in the best possible location, just a pleasant walk from Fisherman's Wharf, our sightseeing bus locale, Trader Joe's and IHOP, which was a godsend for breakfast. The downside of the hotel was the exorbitant prices they charged for food and drink. Really outrageous! Needless to say, we didn't even have coffee there. It's too bad they aren't more reasonable, because the outdoor firepits are an ideal place to sit and relax with a latte or a glass of wine. On the up side, the hotel is nicely decorated and very clean. Our room overlooked the pool and was comfortable and fairly quiet (except for the thumping footprints overhead now and then). Any requests we made were dealt with quickly in a pleasant manner. We would stay there (but not eat there)again.

“WEEKEND GET AWAY”

Had a great time there the area near the hotel is right in the middle of everything and any thing for a short trip food shopping the sights and the out door fire pits was a plus due to the weather doing our stay and oh yes do ride the[F] cable car to everywhere fast and not expensive not a car friendly place to stay due to price of parking.would stay again.
