Very courteous, friendly staff! Great shower with TV in the suite. Forgo the valet parking and self-park in the garage next door to save $.

“A very nice small hotel”

This was the second time I stayed at the Serrano. Both times I have been very pleased with my stay. The rooms are quite small, but contain lots of amenities. Everything was clean and well cared for. I had a corner room and the two large windows made for a nice, bright room. The staff were always friendly and doorman always said "welcome back". I didn't try the restaurant, but I did get to the daily wine tasting a couple of times. It was 10 to 15 minute walk to the Moscone Center, but the weather made it a pleasant walk.

My room was on the smaller side but comfortable. Hotel is close to everything. Staff was extremely helpful.

I just completed a six day stay at the Serrano. The staff is so professional and attentive. Breakfast restaurant is first class; coffee and the NY Times and local papers available every morning in the lobby. The hotel rooms are small but luxurious for the very affordable rate. Great location in terms of access to transit anywhere in the central city. I look forward to going back for a vacation stay soon.

I prefer a smaller, boutique hotel...and this one is exceptional. Friendly service, comfortable rooms, convenient business services and facilities...and a great location! Worth a visit!!

The hotel was in a great location. Easy to walk to everything or catch a trolley. The hotel staff was friendly. We did not eat there, however. Great Trip!

I've had absolutely fabulous stay in this hotel!! Everything was worth every single penny! The location is very convenient.

I enoyed the cozy entrance way of the hotel and the concierge service was terrific. This was my first time in S.F. so I was able to see so much and confidently knew where I was going due to the consierge service! The room was comfortable and next time I will ask for a room with windows that open. They were remodeling at this time so I do believe windows will open in most or all of the rooms. The maid service was excellent. Breakfast is busy so get there early or later! Delicious breakfast potatoes! I very much enjoyed the dinner at the Hotel restaurant. Interesting appetizers and main course. I would recommend getting a few more Ca. Red Wines on the Wine List. The Hotel is convenient to the convention center. My husband caught a shuttle across the street or you can easily walk. Walking distance to Union Square and China Town and the art galleries. Next time I will get to the museums which are close by.
