Pros: The amenities are good.
Cons: Provide bath robes.
Location: Enjoyed the nearby town of Burlingame.
Spacious room with nice tv, microwave, refrigerator, in-room coffee/tea, free Wi-Fi.

Good location

Pros: Hearty cooked breakfast, and clean, comfortable rooms with firm beds.
Cons: Communication between staff and then that information to the guests.
Location: Good location to the airport. We did not have time for other activities. It looked like a residential neighborhood in the surrounding area.
Very disappointed with the airport shuttle service. We arrived late in the evening, phoned for the shuttle pickup and were told the normal shuttle van had broken down, but they had an alternative vehicle. They were experiencing 1/2 hour delays for pickup. Which was ok since some things can't be helped. However after 4 calls and a 2hrs wait we were not impressed, arriving at the hotel at 1:00AM. We had not moved from our waiting location but somehow they missed us? Same type of headache in the morning. We went down to the front desk at 7AM to make a booking for the return shuttle. The earliest available was 10am. We were in the lobby at 9:50am and told to wait. By 10:45am the driver still had not turned up and we were seeing other people arriving for their prebooked time of 11AM. The front desk staff seemed surprised we were still waiting (but we hadn't moved from the couch in the lobby). When the driver showed up he said he was full for the next 3 trips, each at hour intervals. There was much debate and in the end we argued our way onto the already late "11am" shuttle. It was a shame this happened because the stay would have been a pleasant one. The cooked breakfast was enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Pros: Breakfast was OK.
The hotel is dated. Cleaning around the walls and in corners of the room has not been done in a long time. Bed pillows are too soft and too small. Elevator was not working probably so we had to lug our luggage up to the second floor.

unresponsive staff

Pros: location was good
Cons: staff was unresponsive
the TV didn't work or even get looked at once. I complained each of my 3 days we stayed and each time the staff said they'd have maintenance look at it. Once they said someone would come right now. Never happened. I had to put a coat and pillow over the tv screen, because the name was too bright and I couldn't turn it off, so I could sleep.

Pros: The room was comfortable
Cons: Wifi, air conditioner noise, shower, staff ensuring requests for alarm calls and airport shuttles are booked.
Location: Good airport location, meal at the Holiday Inn was okay.
The room was comfortable enough although the air conditioner was too loud to leave on overnight and the shower was worse than trying to stand under a running tap. The free wifi connection was non existent and it didn't seem possible to pay for the faster connection as we couldn't connect to anything in the first place - if you go to the Holiday Inn for dinner they have free wifi and you can pick that up better from your San Mateo room than the hotel's own one. We requested an alarm call and a booking on the 8am airport shuttle both of which didn't happen although we were lucky there was space on the shuttle so I would double check these arrangements have been made. Pretty average for the price paid and I wouldn't book again based on the lack of wifi and the need to complete some work before our flight.

Basic, but clean and good value

I understand that this hotel has been acquired by the Holiday Inn chain. This hotel is approximately 5 mins from airport using the courtesy shuttle. Downtown San Francisco 30 mins on the BART (courtesy shuttle will take you to and from BART station). On one occasion the shuttle bus was not working, but the hotel organised a taxi on the house. Room was very large and clean, although the a/c units were a little dated and noisy they did the job. Complimentary breakfast buffet was OK, although the coffee was not so good. There was a shortage of breakfast tables during busy periods. It is worth pointing out that there is not much in the way of amenities in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. To be honest, you get what you pay for - a decent hotel in downtown SF could easily set you back over £200 per night. I paid £56 for one night including breakfast. Here, the city can be accessed on the BART for around $16 return (30 mins). If you're after a handy base for the Airport or SF and you're on a budget, consider this hotel - it's clean, safe and comfortable. On the other hand, if you're expecting luxury on the doorstep of the SF attractions then look elsewhere.

Awful !!

Pros: Absolutely nothing!
Cons: Everything.
Location: Awful surrounding.
Room smells and extremely dirty! Closet door broken and no one bother to fix it. Shower head no water pressure and no hot water. Internet wi-fi hardly usable. Since we were just going to stay for one night I did not bother to complain, but the staff never ask me either how my stay was at time of checkout. Really terrible experience all around!! Trust me, stay away and you will be glad you did!

Pros: For the price, the sheets and towels are decent quality, the bed is comfortable, the room reasonably clean, decent breakfast and great location.
Cons: The electronic door keys NEVER hold a charge beyond a day or two - water pressure in showers is bad in some rooms
I've stayed at this hotel now about 6 times for business.

Okay place, simple and clean

This is an okay hotek, nothing to brag abput. Didn't like the room AC's which weren't keeping it cool for me.
