“Fun airport overnighter”
As a family of 4 we all loved this hotel as an over night stop. It was great fun being able to watch the planes land and take off. Bar/lounge area was lively and fun and we had a lovely meal in the restaurant. It is certainly going to be my preferred airport over nighter at San Fran. Room was a good size for the 4 of us too.
“Quick, but very comfortable stay”
We had to stay because of a missed connection after an overseas flight. Very close and convenient to airport, shuttle ran on exact schedule they said it would and the room was VERY comfortable!
“Excellent Hotel”
This was my first stay at this hotel, and I travel a lot to this area. The hotel is very convenient for anyone flying in to SFO, being close to the airport, and offers hotel shuttle service to and from the airport. This is quite convenient if you want to take the BART into the city as well. The hotel is lovely and the room was beautiful and immaculate. Service was great. Restaurant offers buffet breakfast starting early which is convenient. My only suggestions would be to call the hotel for a shuttle if you arrive after 11:30pm, and expect a wait that late at night. Otherwise shuttles come pretty frequently routinely. Also I had a room on the same floor near the meeting rooms, and it so happened a party was scheduled in a meeting room one night of my stay. Some of the noise did carry to my room, and lasted until midnight. You might inquire about room locations and scheduled events to avoid this problem. Otherwise, the hotel gets my highest recommendations.
“A Relaxful Stay”
My husband and I stayed at the Mariott for the weekend. The staff was very kind and helpful. We were able to obtain a map of the city and received useful information for dining and evening activities. We also enjoyed relaxing outside by the fire and looking at the bay. The facilities was extremely clean and the atmosphere was comfortable. We will visit this hotel again when we come back to San Francisco.
“Much Better than Expected”
I had a conference in the hotel so I chose it for convenience. The 3 1/2 star user rating had me a bit concerned, but it turned out to be a very nice hotel. I strongly recommend it. You can also take a nice walk along the bay (not really scenic but it is convenient).
“Airport Marriot”
Great lobby with a wonderful view from the bar. The steak restaurant in the hotel was excellent.
“A bed i'd go back for”
The bed was fantastic, I slept like a baby! the location was kind of far away from any shopping & only a couple of restaurants to choose from ( both with good food).. A $20 cab ride to San Mateo or a $40-50 ride to San Francisco if you don't have a car.
“Felt like home away from home”
I stayed at the hotel while recovering from major surgery done at Palo Alto. My stay lasted for a week. This hotel provide myself and my sister a lot of comfort away from home. The view of the bay certainly helps sooth an aching body, the bay walk path, provided us with much needed leisure walking grounds, and it was very safe. It was amazing to be able to see planes landing and taking off from the room of the hotel or the lobby at any time of day. The Star Bucks inside the premises was ana extra bonus. The breakfast buffet was a plus. I had a rental car, they charge 18$/day to self park, parking spots are always available. Or you can go valet for 24$/day.The only thing I would improve? The Hangar restaurant meals i.e dinner tasted like cardboard, especially the steak and baked potato. And it was not worth the exorbitant price charged. Fire the chef, for sure!
“Terrific hotel....would stay there again.”
Only complaint is having to pay for internet usage.

Shuttle to Marriott was close, timely & very convenient. Check in swift & accommodations were just perfect.
