“great san francisco deal”
for those that dont spend huge amounts of time in their hotel room and dont have kids and want an affordable centrally located hotel this is a great deal. its right in the middle of the central city off market street by a block. that means you can hop in cab, take a bus or bart or underground just a few steps out of your room. if you have a car its got free parking!!! i will be back!!!
“great stay a very happy new year experience”
my stay was much better than anticipated. the room was ready and there was space in the parking lot even though we were 2 hours early! the front desk was very friendly and helpful and even offered a room for the next night, new year's eve at a huge discount. the location couldn't have been better for our new year celebration at the civic auditorium easily within walking distance even after hours of extreme revelry.

i stayed at rodeway inn for 4 nights and it was enjoyable. its not a luxury inn, and i recommend it if youre just going to sleep and shower there (which is what i did). i spent most of my time out and about which was perfect because the hotel is next to a MUNI stop. great location, very close to union square. the service was good and the hotel was clean. cable wasnt great, but i didnt watch much TV anyways. overall, i would probably go back due to affordable pricing and location alone.

I spent a week at the Rodeway Inn downtown and I was really impressed. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff was really helpful and friendly. This hotel is very well located. The BART station (Civic Center) sis less than 5 minutes walk and there are many restaurants, store and a Walgreens very close to the hotel. (all 5 minutes walk or less) Free, non-restrictive Wi-Fi and free parking also makes this hotel a great choice. The free continental breakfast is served from 7AM to 10AM but a few times during my stay I went for breakfast after 10AM and the staff were nice enough to give me the breakfast even if I was late. I was a girl travelling alone and I felt safe walking around the area even late at night. Because it is located downtown there is a little noise at night, especially during the weekend, but turning on the fan in my room solved the problem for me. I am planning to return to San Francisco and I will most certainly stay at this hotel again, I would recommend it to people travelling in San Francisco.

good hotel for two stars. room was kind of small. continental breakfeast was coffe juice and packaged pastry, neighborhood was a little scary at night. A great place to crash after exploring a pretty cool city.

This hotel has very good service, the room was ready for us, the person at the reception was very helpful, and the hotel has free parking, something that is hard to find in San Francisco, and very close to downtown.

This hotel was convenient to everything for me because I love to walk. It was convenient to the airport and all highways. There are a lot of homeless people all over S.F. and this area was no exception therefore on my walking tours I made sure I was back in my room before dark. The room was cleaned and restocked every day(coffee,tea,towels,etc). The staff were polite and helpful when I needed something.
