Postrio Restaurant and Bar - This popular Wolfgang Puck restaurant overlooks a garden and features a stylish decor with original paintings by Robert Rauschenberg and glass sculpture by Dale Chihuly. The large, open kitchen serves California cuisine with Asian and Mediterranean influences, with a focus on fresh local ingredients. Open for lunch and dinner daily. Pizzas, sandwiches, and other lighter fare are available at the adjacent bar.

“Would stay again!”
Wonderful stay. Very comfortable great helpful staff. Only thing at 7am every morning the trash truck would pound outside the window. Very loud for about 15 minutes. Might want to request a room oppisite street side.Local restraunts very good ate at Honey Honey for breakfast and Empirior Rulli in Union Square was very fun. Hotel dining downstairs excellent; best mac n cheese ever. A must have! Winr tasting is on the house very generaous. Parking is expensive $44 a night but does include in and out privaledges. Next time will use public transit.

Easy 1-1/2 block walk to Union Square and cable cars. Great shopping and dining nearby. Will stay again on our next trip.

Booked this room based of positive reviews. Hotel has great character. The staff was very friendly. If you are headed to Union Square area it's located very close. The room was nice. But again, you are in a big city and there is a lot going on outside. So bring some earplugs if you are a light sleeper. I would definitely stay again. Happy Holiday's!!
“Home away from home”
We love this hotel - and come back every year - because it is cozy and feels like home. There is nothing 'boutique' about it and we dearly hope it stays that way! A very friendly staff makes our stay complete. Unless they renovate, we'll never stay anywhere else.
“Great concierge services, clean room”
Very clean, quiet, and quaint boutique hotel. Tim, the concierge, was excellent, so full of information. He recommended several places to eat and they were great. We got a great rate, and the location was fantastic, so close to Union Square and all the public transportation.

“Perfect Location”
I would very likely go back and stay here. It was centrally located, a safe neighborhood and quiet. As an older hotel, it was small but, well-maintained and the staff eager to please. Beds are comfortable and amenities pleasant.

very warm environment with all the ammenities of one of the big luxury chain hotels yet it has the familiarity andwarmth of a smaller boutiqe hotel....just my style.
“Convenient and comfortable”
Loved the discount valet for Hybrids,complimentary wine in the evening. Clean, unique and overall great stay. Only one small issue with the shower drain was clogged. Very nice service would go back.
