Unfriendly staff

Posted 14-Nov-2014
I don't expect much, but the office manager was very unfriendly and rude when I needed his assistance with the broken tv. They also had fox 'news' blaring in the lobby. The smart people know why this is a problem.

Stanford Medical Stay

Posted 7-Nov-2014
Pros: Quiet, large room, location to medical center, Excellent hot breakfast.
Cons: Check- in Parking.
Location: We only visited due to the Medical center.
When I tryed to book a room in the area I noticed that the Stanford area Hotels raise the prices during the middle of the week due to the Medical Center. Pacific inn was one of hte few who had decent prices. The room was large and had a stove and med size frige for long time stay. We stayed in the back area which was very quiet. Only 3 miles from the Medical Center.

Don't stay here!

Posted 1-Nov-2014
Pros: The female receptionist was friendly and speedy.
Cons: Replace the male receptionist, paint rooms, install more lighting.
Location: Great location. Stanford, Stanford shopping center, just north San Francisco, Closer south San Jose. The Bay Aria rock's
Checked in at 3 PM, The female receptionist was friendly and speedy. Then the wife and I went to get some lunch, before going to the room. We returned about an hour later, and entered the room. I'v seen better room's in small town's in Mexico! It was clean, but didn't look it. My wife went to the bathroom to urinate, a few minutes later she told me the toilet will not flush completely and almost overflowed. I checked it out, and she was right. I went to the office, and told the man behind the desk what happened. He told me the maintenance people have left and he can give me the toilet plunger to do it myself! After turning 20 shades of red, I told him he is going to do it with in a half hour or I'm calling Channel 7 on your side. He showed up with about 2 Min. left, after checking the toilet he said it was plugged and he will be back with a plunger. About 10 Min later he showed up and cleared the toilet. saying we shouldn't put paper in the toilet. I told him all my wife did was go pee, N O PAPER! Breakfast, The coffee was luke warm, egg's, sausage, pancakes (pre made), and potato's were cold. If I have to go to this aria again, I'd go to hotel 8 before going here. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy, it would give him more reason to kill me.

Decent hotel

Posted 31-Oct-2014
We stayed overnight for an appointment at Stanford hospital. Room was clean and tidy, although a bit on the small side. The mattress was really firm, which I liked. The hotel showed it's age, but was still comfortable. WiFi seemed a little slow, even though I had full bars. No other complaints; I'd stay here again.

Close to Stanford

Posted 25-Oct-2014
Pros: Location, fridge, microwave
Cons: New towels.
Location: Located near Stanford Medical. Small restaurants and Target located within walking distance.
Hotel is located 10 minutes from Stanford Medical. We had problems with the door key because it was demagnetized. The WiFi was only available for 1 day ( was not able to connect on day 2). The towels were flimsy but overall the room was nice. It was convenient having the fridge and microwave. The breakfast was a plus, all you can eat with a variety of choices.

Best hotel for the price during the peak season.

If you just need some place to stay in Bay Area during big events in the city and don't want to pay $400 a night, Pacific Inn is one of the evident choices.

Quiet, away from the hustle and bustle

Posted 4-Oct-2014
Pros: Complimentary Nachos and Popcorn, FREE Hot breakfast... Friendly
Cons: The jets in the jacuzzi tubs should be checked after each stay...
Quoet, Away from the hustle and bustle, close to shopping and dining... Only about 30 mins from downtown San Francisco...
