Pros: the homey and clean room, had a Jacuzzi tub also, unexpected. staff wasn't very welcoming though.
Cons: staff professionalism (it is after all, hospitality)
hotel staff not so friendly, but the room nice and clean and lots of amenities. Great free breakfast. nice stay.

Stay was fine. Provided what we needed.

Posted 23-May-2015
Pros: Convenient location. Clean and comfortable.
Cons: Need an improved Full Hot Breakfast!
Location: Stanford Univ. Palo Alto. San Francisco Airport. The City.
The "Full Hot Breakfast" provided was very disappointing. The food provided was basic. I ate yogurt daily. I tried some of the other food but found it very disappointing. My husband at what was available daily and said it was fine. The room was basic but clean and comfortable.

Bad hotel experience, possibly book thru Expedia.

Posted 3-May-2015
Pros: Room was cleaned up daily with linens changed. Breakfast provided.
Cons: The room we had should not be rented out at all.
We were given possibly the worst room of the hotel. It was on the second floor right near to the main road. Worse still it was right beside a secured door to the second floor entrance. There were loud banging, heart shaking noise all night from the door, the heavy-duty lock, whenever people going in or out. It was a punishing experience.

Internet Letdown

Insufficient internet connection, unreliable in room which was absolutely useless when travelling on business and needing privacy for work activities. Just unacceptable !

Basic inexpensive hotel

Posted 1-May-2015
Pros: The rose garden
Cons: Quality of the Internet connection in rooms and the food offered for breakfast
Location: Being right on El Camino Real was convenient to our meeting in Palo Alto. There is a pizzeria a block down that was very good.
Accommodations were okay in terms of what is in the room and cleanliness, but we could not use the Internet connection in our room for most of the three days we were there. One staff member tried to help, but was unable to remedy the problem and didn't get back to us about what to do. There was a group of us staying there and one person had dirty towels in her room. The breakfast was generally not to be consumed by humans who did not want chemicals and manufactured food in their bodies. Coffee was so-so. The best parts of this hotel is that it is inexpensive, close to our meeting place, and the rose garden seating outside the breakfast room. Since we were out of the room almost all day, it worked out okay.

Convenient location to Stanford/Palo Alto

Posted 10-Apr-2015
Pros: Free parking, free breakfast, reasonable rates.
Cons: Add a small fitness room.
This is a nice hotel in the 3-star range. It's a bit worn/old, but it's clean. All the staff we encountered were so nice. We stayed in room #650 (2 double beds) and it was enormous. Large bathroom with a huge Jacuzzi tub, apartment size refrigerator (not tiny college size), and oddly, a full size oven/range. Free parking, free hot breakfast, and laundry facilities. About a 15 minute drive straight down El Camino Real to Stanford. The only down size was that the street is really noisy, and the walls were thin. We could hear everything that was going on in the rooms around us. I used earplugs to sleep because the room right below us contained a bunch of guys watching some kind of sporting event. But that wasn't the hotel's fault. Lots of restaurants and a Target nearby. I would stay here again.

Motel of mediocre comfort

Posted 29-Mar-2015
No elec outlets open except in bathroom. Internet flickered every evening. Bath not clean. Old jetted tub. Missing floor tiles. Loud ground floor room with partygoers outside door drinking til 9 pm with no hotel staff intervening. Had wrong rate at check in and argued with me at length despite my confirmation print out in hand. Motel undeserving of the "special" rate I got. Twice as high as it deserved. Free breakfast nice but interrogated you for your coupon before you could eat. Also required full payment on arrival ??? Not going there again. Many nicer hotels and motels within blocks.

More electrical outlets in room needed...

Posted 25-Mar-2015
Pros: The price, the quiet, the good beds, the helpfulness of the staff, the close proximity to Stanford hospital.
Cons: Install more electrical outlets near each bed and one to serve the table in the room
The only problem was the lack of sufficient electrical outlets in the room; none were close to the beds. There were only two outlets in the room, both being used for the refrigerator and the coffee maker.

Close to the hospital

It was OK but felt it was way overpriced for what we got.
