Close to Stanford

Posted 25-Oct-2014
Pros: Location, fridge, microwave
Cons: New towels.
Location: Located near Stanford Medical. Small restaurants and Target located within walking distance.
Hotel is located 10 minutes from Stanford Medical. We had problems with the door key because it was demagnetized. The WiFi was only available for 1 day ( was not able to connect on day 2). The towels were flimsy but overall the room was nice. It was convenient having the fridge and microwave. The breakfast was a plus, all you can eat with a variety of choices.

Best hotel for the price during the peak season.

If you just need some place to stay in Bay Area during big events in the city and don't want to pay $400 a night, Pacific Inn is one of the evident choices.

Quiet, away from the hustle and bustle

Posted 4-Oct-2014
Pros: Complimentary Nachos and Popcorn, FREE Hot breakfast... Friendly
Cons: The jets in the jacuzzi tubs should be checked after each stay...
Quoet, Away from the hustle and bustle, close to shopping and dining... Only about 30 mins from downtown San Francisco...

Close to our conference.

Pros: close to the training
Cons: the cleanness of the hotel.
Location: N/A
It seemed as it was a hotel that you would rent by the hour. Also the bed sheets and the towels had someone else hair on them. Booked this hotel for my boss needless to say not a very good review.

Front desk clerk on cell phone during my check-in. Blow dryer didn't work. Non smoking room had a strong cigarette smoke odor.

I really wanted to like this hotel...BUT

Posted 1-Sep-2014
I really wanted to like this hotel but it truly was the worst hotel I have stayed at since I can even remember. The staff was rude and not accommodating. The smell in the room was horrendous. Maybe years and years of smoking smells they are trying to cover with chemical stench. More likely they are still using non smoking rooms to accommodate smokers. It was old and dirty. Breakfast was microwaved and awful. Do yourself a huge favor...stay anywhere else!!!!
