Property Amenities
The lobby at Nob Hill Hotel is a virtual Victorian museum of antique photos and reproduction furniture, with occasional Art Deco and classical touches. Outside, a marble patio, its cupola holding a Grecian sculpture of a woman, is backed by a trompe l'oeil sky.
The hotel offers an Italian restaurant, where complimentary Continental breakfast is served daily. Complimentary wine is served in the lobby every evening.
Amenities include a fitness center and complimentary wireless Internet access.

This San Francisco hotel offers 54 rooms on six floors. Access is via an antique, brass-fronted elevator with hand-painted interior, or via carpeted staircase. Accommodations offer cast-iron Elliot's Design beds, or beds with wood headboards—both styles dressed in velvet and satin comforters. Views are of the street or garden (no access). Rooms vary in size and are individually decorated, but all have walls painted with rolled stencil. There is also a mix of antique and reproduction furniture, such as marble-topped side tables, stained glass lamps and French armchairs. Other amenities include cordless phones and teddy bears.
Dining
A complimentary Continental breakfast is provided each morning consisting of pastries, cereals, coffee, juice, and tea.
Cafe Columbini - Country-cottage style dining room. Italian cuisine served, including pastas, grilled salmon, and lamb. Open for lunch during the week and for dinner every day.

“A taste of the past, with modern conveniences”
I thought this place was great. I think that those that did not enjoy their stay at Nob Hill were looking for more of an "upscale, or ritzy city" experience. One has to remember that this is an old building. It survived the Great Earthquake of 1906, and it's one of the few original buildings still standing. Having said that, I think that Nob Hill does very well blending the modern amenities with a piece of history. The room was cozy, with mini fridge, flat screen, and nice bath. The hotel is decorated with antiques and tiffany lamps throughout, and I fould the old elevator charming. There is also parking with come & go priveliges right around the corner. The price was very reasonable, and I would definitely stay there again. Try to get a courtyard facing room---much quieter.

“European style hotel”
Very comfortable hotel, the room was small but adequate, the price was great. The adjoining resturant, Columbini was a great surprise, we loved it, it reminded us of Italy. The location was a little distance from everything, it was not the type of area you could easily walk to anything but we never had a problem getting a cab. The people were very helpful.
“Pleasantly Surprised”
Though the hotel room was a little smaller than I thought, it was amazing. It was crazy close to the Trolley that could take you to Union Square or Fisherman's Wharf. The hotel was a bit difficult to find because the entrance was small. The bed was super soft, the sheets were incredible, and I loved the familiarity of it all. Thank you!

I loved it! Not only was the price right, but the rooms were great. A little small, but the style and comfort made up for it. Very clean also. Great breakfast overlooking the street. I will definitely go back to the Nob Hill Hotel.
“Loved this place!”
The room was small but very clean and had coffe maker,fridge and microwave.The staff was friendly and helpful.Our room was overlooking Hyde street and right above the hotel sign.Even though the drapes were heavy there was still a glow from the light.I mentioned this to the young man at the front desk(can't recall his name)and when we came back that evening they had installed a pull down shade on the window!!I was really blown away by their attention to my problem!!We also enjoyed the wine tasting in the evening,it gave us a chance to get to know some of the other guests.Can't beat the location either!Close to all the downtown excitement but far enough away to be very quiet.We will definitely go back on our next visit!
“Wonderful Time at a Beautiful Hotel”
I had a wonderful time in this beautiful hotel. My stay here was exactly what I was looking for. I loved the hotel and will certainly recommend it to my friends and family. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The room was furnished with more personality than any hotel I have stayed in in this country - usually you have to go to Europe for this kind of charm.
