“I'll be back...”
Delightful stay--would love to go back. Rooms are small, but high ceilings gave feel of roominess. Conceirge and front desk staff were great--very helpful and loved giving suggestions for restaurants, tour bus, etc. Arranged taxi for 3:30 am pick up--surprised to find front desk staffed at that hour. Location is great for all mass transit options.
“great little hotel”
This hotel was everything that I expected. Nice, clean, quiet and a very friendly and helpful staff. the rooms are small but verry well appointed. It has great location. It was a tremendous value and I would stay here again.
“perfect spot in Union Square”
Hotel staff very friendly..... Room: very spacious and very clean. Furniture updated. Can't wait to go back......
“Excellent location, excellent price”
Chose this hotel for proximity to transportation and price. Location was great, right downtown so packed during tourist season. Sensitive sleepers shouldn't get rooms facing the street, as it's pretty boisterous, but I sleep like a log so I was fine. Bed was comfortable, room was very clean. Not a lot of space in the room, so I would say it's best suited to people who will be out enjoying the city all day, not hanging out in your hotel room. Staff was friendly and the amenities were adequate. Building was cool and had nice vintage SF charm. Good stuff!
“Loved the hotel!”
I think this was a great hotel. Really central location. The room was small, but cozy. They had complimentary coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Really a place to sleep and to have your stuff which is great for me & my boyfriend who spent most of our day outside. The concierge and front desk were helpful and the hotel has a really unique and cool design. The thai place next door is phenom. btw! :)
“Outstanding Union Square location.”
While traveling on business or pleasure in the SF Union Square area, this hotel is not to be missed. Newly renovated the rooms are very modern and clean. Outstanding staff and a late afternoon wine tasting awaits you.
“Bargain with friendly staff and great location”
I asked for a room facing the interior courtyard. It was just big enough to hold a queen bed but had a walk in closet and a very clean bathroom with a handy storage ledge. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet. Wireless internet was freely available throughout the hotel and the staff was friendly and helpful. BART (Powell Station) is just around the corner and many bus connections can be made within 2-3 blocks (MUNI, SamTran both run nearby). This hotel also has its own monitored parking lot. A fabulous location, great staff, warm atmosphere, basic services, internet, and great rates! I will be staying here again.
“Would definitely return...”
The Queen room was small, but the decor was very nice and it was spotlessly clean. The addition of a mini-fridge would have been nice so we could keep beverages cold. We had a streetside room, overlooking Ellis, but it was not noisy even though we stayed over one Saturday night. The proximity to the cable cars on Powell was awesome.
“Impressed with the hotel.”
We were impressed with the hotel. It was in a good central location, was clean and we will definitely stay there again.
“Would stay at this hotel again in a minute”
The staff was very helpful. The location was great. My travel companions and myself would stay there again anytime. Great value for the price. Very clean and cutely decorated. The rooms aren't huge but they are big enough- we barely spent anytime in our room anyway. The beds were extremely comfortable- I didn't wake up with that morning after backache that you usually get from a hotel bed. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
