Ran out of wings in bar area. Otherwise loved it! Room very well appointed, beautiful modern decor. Breakfast wa great with many options. Overall an extremely pleasant stay.
Clean, nice rooms and felt very safe. Breakfast was great as well. The window in my room was frosted glass so that felt a little cell like not being to see out the window but if you got a different room, problem solved! Good option.

This place is so clean and brand new! I loved it for a business trip and highly recommended for business travelers. The breakfast selection was amazing! So many great choices! One of the best breakfast I had during business trips. You can’t beat the value of this place.

I absolutely enjoyed our stay. Considering the affordability and great price, the hotel was very clean, neat, organized, and spacious. Additionally, the complementary breakfast was very nicely made and so incredibly filling and scrumptious. Our family really enjoyed our night at Hyatt — it was by far one of the most comfortable hotels we’ve stayed at!
Front desk helpful n seems to have been recently n tastefully renovated. Breakfast well presented but those a m continental breakfasts of prepared items never look interesting. Would stay again.
The hotel was very clean, friendly staff they were very welcoming. Parking is easy to find either on the street or in the parking garage. The room was very nice and comfortable. Only issue was the shower door kept opening by itself.
The facilities were very clean and the bathroom was sparkly clean. The room and bathroom were quite spacious. Room temperature was just right and even though we were right around the corner from the elevators, it was quiet all night. Really enjoyed our stay. I would say that the location lends itself to needing to have a car though which we did.
The hotel isn't even a year old and still feels very fresh and new. Modern, minimal design throughout. Super comfortable bed. Friendly and informative staff. Great location and close to the San Carlos train depot.

Beautiful modern hotel. Best part was being able to stream my favorite show from my phone to the huge television.

Dear Mr. C.,(Of course, I am keeping your name confidential!)Being a customer of Hotels.com, I was able to thoroughly research your stay here with us, and I conclude that you are unfortunately placing the blame for your life choices on this hotel. Unfair. Allow me to explain for our fellow travelers looking for cogent and clear reviews when choosing their hotel stays: Our night auditor did report a strange encounter on her nightly report. I also interviewed her and discovered a bit more about the goings on about your "unwanted guest". It seems that when the female visitor approached the Front Desk, she did not provide identification but simply demanded of our night hostess: "I know *Mr. C.* is here! I want a key now!" When our employee refused, the unwanted guest then demanded to speak directly with you Mr. C.... Our employee correctly then contacted you by phone directly to your room, and explained that you had a visitor, asking if you would like us to provide a key for her. You of course declined, and asked the employee to send the "unwanted" female guest away without speaking to her.Of course, our employee suggested that the (still unidentified) visitor move on, the lady then demanded to be allowed into the elevators and to know your room number. Of course, our very professional Front Desk Hostess declined, and this is when security here became involved. Keeping the peace, ... as she is contracted to do. I do believe your privacy was protected from an unwanted confrontation with the angry female visitor. I suppose you might have been grateful for this protection from our Hotel staff.The management and owner reviewed my investigation, and we all agree, that our employee acted completely professionally, and also with courtesy to the angry visitor - unwanted or not, and with courtesy and confidentiality to you. You, perhaps, might wish in the future to be a bit more careful about the trails you are leaving, or maybe where you park your known vehicle, so that your unwanted "friends" might be thwarted when they are trying to track you and your "other friends" down.I do wish you all the best in your path through life, but please do not take out your anger at the situation you allowed to happen on the business and employees who are affected by your false accusations.Please kindly do not stay with us again, as we do not need this sort of drama here. I am super grateful of the professionalism and honor that our employee displayed in this interaction, and stand by her judgement in preventing your unwanted visitor from confronting you at our peaceful hotel.I wish you the best of luck,Matthew
Fabulous new hotel in convenient location. Walk to restaurants. Rooms are large and comfortable. Walk in showers are a plus. Great breakfast. The entire experience was a nice surprise at the price point.

What a jem of a hotel. Very friendly staff, clean, well appointed rooms, great breakfast. It is very conveniently located and near the many cute restaurants and shops of San Carlos. Will definitely stay here again

Indeed, it is what one might call "bar food", although we get some really great feedback as to the quality of our dinner service. I hope that despite a selective menu, you did enjoy what you ate.Thank you for the compliments on the breakfast, the friendly staff, and the cleanliness. It sounds like we got most of the things right, but we will do our best to consider the menu for changes if we can, before your next visit here. In the meantime, we do find that a lot of visitors find a great variety of places to eat in lovely San Carlos downtown, with at least a hundred unique places to dine. We are regular visitors to San Carlos and the surrounding area every December for holiday parties. Last year we stayed at a travel hotel next door and it was ok, but not great. Hyatt Place is new and is fabulous. Beautiful property, easy parking, nice breakfast and a super comfortable and clean room. Might be the best travel hotel I've ever stayed at.
