“Great friendly good value hotel.”
Friendly staff. Free wine and coffee on some days in the library with chance to relax and meet other travellers.
“Look Here!”
The hotel is great. Its very nice on the inside i was "wowwed" when i walked in and looked very updated. I was greated very nicely by he staff! The surrounding of the hotel wasnt in the greatest part of town, but was still very easy to walk around no one bothered you but saw some strange people but thats san fransico for you. Lessons i learned to save some money $ was: Cab's arn't that pricey, from hotel to pier 39 was only $10 Valet parking at the hotel is $30 a day if you have a car, i stayed 2 nights and it was $68 Dont park in china town you will get a ticker :( That's all i gotta say about that!
“I'll definitely stay in this hotel again”
It might not look like hotel from outside, but when you enter the entrance door, you will be amazed with the interior decoration. The room is nice and clean. The service is very satisfying. The location of the hotel is very close to the cable car and bart, so you are able to take bart from the airport and with 10 minutes walking distance, you'll reach the hotel. (bart is so much cheaper than the airport shuttle). Always TURN LEFT when you get out from the hotel. you don't wanna know what's on the right side (believe me!!). Other than that..I will definitely stay in this hotel again.
“Pretty good”
Nice hotel, cheap and very confortable! Huge comfy king size.
“très bien placé”
Hôtel très très bien placé, presque sur Powell street à un bloc du cable car, d'un grand centre commercial où l' on peut dinner au rez de chaussé, choix intéressant. Abercrombie, American eagle, gap etc tous les magasins de grande marque de l'autre coté de la route... Possibiblité de laisser vos bagages au lobbie le jour de votre départ; Station du Bart à un bloc, un train qui vous dépose directement à l'aéroport de SFO J'y retournerai lors de mon prochain séjour
“Convinient, affordable, clean, friendly”
The hotel is very conviniently located close to BART,shopping, etc. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The room is simple, but clean and comfortable. Excellent value !
“No wine reception as described, but trendy hotel”
was close union square, free Internet, the hotel was very trendy. The pillows are not very cozy and they claim they have wine reception but they no longer
“Can't wait to go back”
I absolutely LOVED this hotel!! From the first moment I walked in I was greated with friendly staff and the atmosphere was comforting. I had a room with a single double bed and the room was perfect! I have to admit, I've never stayed in a smaller hotel room, but it had everything I needed. All of the furniture was nice, the room was clean and the cool fresh air from outside made the air crisp. It reminded me of Europe. They provided two gift bags in the room, one with some ads in it with a free razor and deoderant for women, the other - a mesh bag with shampoo, conditioner, a bar of soap, body wash and lotion from H2O. The only thing I would have changed in the room would have been the mattress. It had a bit of a dent in the center. I will definitely stay at a Personality hotel the next time I go to San Francisco, and probably every time! The price was great too!!
“Clean, close to everything”
Very clean, nice, close to shopping, Union Square, convention center, would recommend it to other people
“My New San Francisco Home”
Just about the cheapest non-hostel hotel in the Expedia search list - I was dubious but decided to go for it based on other reviews. Luckily, I decided right. What a great find - nice room, small but who cares? Quiet, great staff, amazing location. If you add up the room and the parking, it's the same as staying in a motor lodge out on the 101, which is less centrally-located.
