“Great Value Great Location”
This hotel was exactly what I was looking for. It was a clean, comfortable room for a great price. And it the location was excellent, right near everything Union Square has to offer. The staff was very nice and helpful. A nice hotel experience.
“Nice Place!”
It is a nice place for those who want a clean, Quiet room.hotel staff was nice. reasonable price though you know why when you walk outside.Despite Location I felt very safe.Because of location you will see a few homeless and questionable characters, but mind your business and you'll be fine.
“Very Impressed”
We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was extremely courteous and very helpful with any question we had. Another great factor was that it was located within walking distance to restaurants, buses, cable cars, etc. The classic character of the hotel was another plus....it takes you back in time. We loved it!

“Top Notch!”
Our stay at the Mark Twain was nothing but relaxing. It was a GREAT deal and the hotel room was so nice! This was our first trip to San Francisco and we could not stop talking about how friendly the staff was and willing to help us by telling us good places to eat, how to use the Metro, and easy destinations to walk to. It is right in the middle of shopping central and just a block from the amazing Market street. We had great time and will be staying there again! THANK YOU!
“One of the best inexpensive high quality hotels near Union Square in San Francisco.”
Excellent place for an overnight, short stay when running into the city for an evening event. Close to Union Square and Market for excellent shopping, and within walking distance of the Theater district.
“Quaint”
If you like historic porperties, you will like this hotel. Not a lot of bells and whistles but it was quite nice, and very reasonably priced.
