“Unbelievable view!”
My room overlooked the bay with the ships coming and going and all the beautiful sailboats.
“Great Location, Comfortable Accommodations”
This Hilton was the perfect location - right at foot of Chinatown (which we loved), close to the Ferry Building for the top-notch Farmers Market and close to all transportation links. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

We would certainly stay again in this hotel @ this location. Every thing meant our expectations and more.

“Excellent, convenient hotel at a good price”
The hotel is excellent: - clean, crisp sheets - comfortable bed - clean carpets - hot shower - free WiFi - proper lighting - power outlets that are properly positioned on the desk - right next door to Chinatown for good cheap food - efficient and professional staff

“really friendly staff”
We thought that the location was great, close to everything that we wanted. The staff were so accommodating. The concierge's were excellent and funny. We had so much fun talking to them. They arranged a car rental for us and we toured Napa, we totally recommend this!!
“Great location!!”
If you are in San Francisco for business or pleasure, this is a great place to stay. From SFO you can catch the BART to the Montgumery St station, and you are only about a 8 or 9 block walk through the financial district to the hotel. The hotel sits right at the north end of the Financial district, so getting to any place down there is a couple of minute walk away. For leisure activities, you are 2 blocks from Columbus ave, which has many great restraunts and eventually hits Fisherman's Wharf. You are also only 4 blocks from California street where it is easy to catch the famous Cable Cars. From there you can ride up Nob Hill, and catch another Cable Car route to put you into Union Square, or take you all the way to Fisherman's Wharf. (Also runs right across Lombard street, which is really a site to see!) From the Cable Cars you can catch a great view of Alcatraz also. Once on the north side, you are very close to the Golden Gate Bridge. The hotel itself is right next (read: across the street) from China Town. The Italian district is also just a short walk. (4 blocks or so) I loved the hotel bar, the people are very nice, and the food is great. Also a recommended stop would be the San Francisco Brewery (Corner of Columbus and Kearny, only a 2 block walk), they have some great ales and lagers on tap! I would recommend this place for anyone that needs to do some business but would also like to get out and have fun.
“Terrific stay. Great views of Bay.”
All was great, except parking. My wife plus grand-daughter and I arrived seperately, they for one night only. On departure the parking people didn't understand the billing arrangement -- one night -- and were not courtious. This bothered both my wife and grand-daughter.
