“Perfect Location & Lovely Renovated Room”

I was so happy with the newly renovated room with luxurious bedding and modern lighting. My aging eyes could actually read with the eco-friendly bed lights and the bathroom had updated features with a vessel sink. My husband and I have stayed at a hotel on Nob Hill before, but the Grand Hyatt is the only hotel we will stay in now because you can go shopping in the Union Square neighborhood or walk to the Embarcadero or the Pier without climbing the arduous hills. The only criticism (and a trivial one) is the alt-rock music playing in the elevator. Why is music needed in the elevator at all?

“One of the Best in San Francisco!!!”

An excellent choice in San Francisco, very comfortable and clean roooms, the view from the 36th floor restaurant is very impressive, close to china town, cable car, shopping stores and restaurants.

“Excellent Location”

This hotel is within short walking distance of shopping and several modes of transportation. We had very good advice from the concierge. We were three adults booked into a room with two double beds but front desk was able to provide a room on 16th floor overlooking Union Square that had a king size bed and a very comfortable cot. Lots of room in the bathroom and the room itself. Would highly recommend this hotel based on our four night stay.

“Most customer friendly”

Stayed all over the world and this has the most customer friendly staff of all. With one or more stationed just inside the front door the staff is anxious to answer any and all questions, resolve problems, give directions, in a warm and friendly way. Could better advertise the coffee "shop" on the mezzanine but a minor flaw.Clean, comfortable and roomy too.

“Already planning my next trip!”

This was an excellent stay. I highly recommend the few extra dollars to upgrade to club level. You are given free breakfast, afternoon snacks, evening desserts, free sodas a plenty and an honor bar that lets you pour your own drinks! The staff treat you like royalty. This is a hotel that makes your stay effortless from hailing cabs to even getting your ice. I am not joking folks, worth the money here!

David on the concierge desk made our visit all the more enjoyable and easy. His willing to help and assist wherever possible was genuinely appreciated and local knowledge recommendations was spot on. Thank you from a couple of Aussie visitors.

“Great Location”

I consider this probably the best location if you love to shop and don't want to do a lot of walking. It's convenient and the beds are extremely comfortable. Self service check out was easy. They have very friendly staff. Restaurant at the top has a nice view of the city.

“Wonderful Hotel”

From the reception clerks to the concierge, this hotel offered exceptional service. The room was okay (not exceptional) in space, but we truly enjoyed out stay, without exception. The bar staff was fabulous and the live music was great with a view from the top of the hotel that is appparently a favorite of many.

“Great location, quality hotel”

We recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt and were satisfied with the overall stay. It is centrally located to most of San Francisco's major attractions and great shopping and restaurants. The rooms are very nice! Small refrigerator and coffee maker available.
