“Great potential to be a really nice place.”

Pleasant staff. After initialing for $250 penalty for smoking (which I do not) in room, I went to the room to find the bathroom stinking of cig smoke. Apparently due to the way the vents are connected to smoking allowed rooms. Fixed with a plug-in air freshener. Great looking room, but the tub enclosure looked like it was done by an unqualified relative of the owner. Poorest continental breakfast I've ever seen. But that was not important to me, but might be to a family.

“OK property in a good location”

Straight down the middle 3/OK rating. Booked the hotel due to the proximity to SFSU for an orientation visit and it was OK for that. Room had a mini-fridge & microwave but was otherwise small/cramped for three people. Complimentary breakfast was limited continental breakfast -- breads, juice, coffee, some fruit. I was not disappointed because I booked the property for it's location and was only in the room to sleep. If just OK is not suitable for you, try another place. If you're more into what's happening outside the room (i.e. the reason in the area that you're visiting for) and don't mind a basic room, then you'll be fine.

“Great location”

This is not a fancy place to stay BUT the folks who own it are wonderful and very accomodating, the proximity to the ocean cannot be beat, the two restaurants within feet of the motel are great and the shopping mall nearby is more than adequate. The bus service in San Fran is exceptional and for your dollar there are few places that can compare to this one. Have stayed at the Days Inn many times to visit with a family member nearby and hope to stay again soon.

“It was just, OK”

I'm not a picky person but this place was not bad if you're looking just for a place to sleep. I didnt feel to comfortable sleeping there but for the price I did expect a little more cleanliness. The walls had several stains on them and these are things that I am never picky about, which was a complete turn off. Also the soap, body lotion and shampoo all are in a dispenser, which is really good if you're trying to cut cost but does not feel inviting. Lastly, this was the first place ever in my time of traveling that we were not allowed to stay past check out. However, for location it is great. Near many bus lines as well as Union St which has alot of good dining.

“worn & overworked”

It's OK. Clean, but worn out and overworked. The weekend desk clerk is apparently on duty continuously from Friday night through Monday morning--it took almost an hour to wake him up when I arrived in the middle of the night Saturday (although I called ahead and said I would). The "free continental breakfast" is an apple and a vending machine pastry.

“OK but not worth the price.”

Parking is dreadful. Very hard to park an F250 truck. I was told it had a view of the beach but all I saw was a parking garage. Room is small and you have to squeeze around furniture to go around the bed. I had to unplug the refrigerator because it was too noisy disturbing my sleep. The continental breakfast was lacking and served in the hallway. I can say, however, that the staff is very nice and helpful.

“Not as pictured or described”

This hotel was terrible. When checking in, we were sent to the wrong room. When we told the attendant that there was no such room, he sent us to an outside room. Upon entering the room, we were almost knocked over by the smell of cigarettes and urine. This was supposed to be the non smoking room. Parking was a nightmare, very tight. We will definately never stay there again.

“Would never go back to this hotel”

We would never go back to this hotel. The bed was horrible. You could feel the springs. Very uncomfortable. The shower was not working properly. The room overall looked dirty. We couldn't wait to get out of there.
