“Cypress Inn on the Pacific”
We had a delightful room with a king bed that was less than 10 yards from the ocean. We could hear the waves at night and had a great view of the ocean. The Half Moon Bay coastal trail goes by the Inn. Miramar Beach is a block away. The Miramar Beach Restaurant is down the street and Sam's Chowder House is near enough to walk to if you don't mind walking along highway one.
“Can't wait to return!”
The Cypress Inn on Miramar Beach was amazing. From the moment my partner and I arrived we were treated great. We were there for 3 days and it was amazing. Breakfast was great, cheese and wine in the evenings was great. The view was the best part! Even though it was chilly, we slept with the balcony door open and heard the ocean all night. The only thing that was little uncomfortable was that you could hear everything that was going on in the lobby. We stayed upstairs and could hear everyone's conversations, so we were a bit worried that people would hear us as well... Other than that it was great!!
“Rainy weekend stay, it was still great!”
We stayed last week of winter. It rained most of the time. We spent the time relaxing by the cozy fireplace, watching the storm roll in. The waves were awesome. During a short break in the storm we went for a nice walk along a paved footpath that follows the shore.The room was very nice ! Also breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. The first morning we had breakfast burritos and the second was artichoke fritatta (both were yummy) We will definitely stay there again.

Very impressed with this find. Located right on the beach. Excellent service. Very attentive and helpful. Included breakfast was very good and a nice addition, along with afternoon wine and cheese and evening dessert. Would definitely return.
“Excellent in every way”
Stayed one night- wished it was more- friendly staff- ideal location- brilliant breakfast- excellent free evening drinks and nibbles- 40 minute drive to SFO- overall outstanding (their address in a GPS takes you to the wrong street or was that just me?!)
“Wedding night stay”
We stayed for our wedding night. The room and staff were fabulous... We visited the hotel one week prior to our stay. We were handed the keys and allowed to walk through the room. We were allowed to check in early as the room had not been rented the night before. Breakfast was great. Wonderful views of the ocean and coast. Thank you for the great service. We look forward to return visits.

Great hotel, right on the beach, very comfy bed, and wonderful breakfast with blueberry pancakes to order served in a sunlit dining room, I wish I could go there every weekend!
