“Would go back”
Good hotel for the price. Big room. Flat screen TV. Even had roof access which was great for pictures. Can hear some noise from the street in the mornings.

This was a clean hotel with large rooms. Excellent value for the price if this is the area you want to be in.

The hotel itself for great and so was the location! It was quiet and clean! If you are a night clubber then you will be in walking distance from some great clubs.

Conveniently located for sightseeing, staff was very helpful, rooms clean and quiet, beds were comfortable. I would definately recommend this Hotel. One of the best attributes was the fact the parking in their premise, safe and secure.
“Great hotel in a central location.”
We were very happy with the condition of the hotel and the location. There are plenty of eateries nearby to suit every budget and tastes. You also have good excess to public transportation if that is required for travel around the city. We had a car and LOVED the FREE PARKING! After paying $18 to $22 a day to park somewhere, you realize what a blessing it is to have free parking. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
“Noisy place”
Great location, great hotel, way too noisy for me.
“really nice hotel for a good rate”
I've heard the rooms on the street are noisy. I had a room in the back that was very quiet. It was nicely decorated, clean, and very fluffy towels. There was also a large tv and the basics- iron, hair dryer, coffee maker. Parking can be a little tight, but it is free if you don't mind letting them park your car in their lot if its full.
“Good affordable accommodation”
This was everything we wanted. It had all the conveniences close by and had fantastic dining 1 street over. It was nice to stay out of the city and those that complain about the noise off Lombard Street need to do a long haul flight. We didn't even notice. Our room had a view of the Golden Gate when the weather permitted, which unfortunately wasn't often. Overall good service, and a convenient location. Will stay there again

We loved everything that has to do with San Fransisco. The vibe was great, the people were very inviting and warm. We want to go back as soon as we can.
“Great find!”
The Chelsea Motor Inn was a great find in San Francisco. Their building was very secure, you have to use your key to access any outside doors to the elevator or stairwell. Our room was very spacious and well decorated. The bathroom was very large and nice. This hotel is located in the Marina/Cow Hollow district, which is about a 15 minute walk to fisherman's wharf, but it's in a very good area, and is a very good value. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!
