"Exceeding expectations"
Even though this hotel had plenty of recommendations, I still tought I would find it 'ok'. It so happens the hotel is amazing: clean and modern rooms and facilities, spacious rooms (I got a Standard), excelent shower, great food. Adding to that is an impressive staff: quick on duty and responsive - the concierge even offered to text me restaurant options when I called from the street asking for recommendations. The only thing I would say is that at night the bar is really close to the lobby and is like you're getting into a party (at rooms no noise).

"Quirky, boutique & friendly."
Quirky, boutique & friendly hotel close to Chinatown & Market St. There can be a little street noise outside late at night but this is a great little place to stay in the heart of San Francisco (especially if you like rubber ducks!)

"Central Hotel"
The hotel was everything it said it was. I didn't get in until quite late and Ken was there to welcome me. At the end of each floor is a room to enjoy tea/coffee biscuits and fruit Room and bathroom spotless. Staff very helpful giving ideas of what to see and directions on how to get there. Breakfast was a great continental breakfast included in the price. It was very central to Union Square and hop on/off buses etc. would stay again in a hear beat!! Carolyn

"Remarkable "ambiance""
The hotel Mystic by Charlie Palmer offers a remarkable "ambiance" which made me feel comfortable - I've enjoyed very much the european concept design furniture in the room and bathroom - more specifically the large shower - I also need to mention the comfort of the bed and linen bed - Hum!!!! They also offer a delicious breakfast with employees making sure that nothing is missing and this to the sound of a good choice of music! Of course, if the room is located above the alley with the garbages, it is noisy early in the morning - but at the same time, the alley offers interesting situation to watch involving surprising visitors - G. "A Nice Hotel to Stay at While in SF"
Our first choice of hotels whenever we stay in SF is the Taj Campton Place. We like the location of the hotel near Union Square and especially the hotel staff whom we have come to know quite well and treat like family. The location allows us to navigate around the city but using the different modes of transportation available to us. Despite the construction around Union Square, the Campton Place for us, is still an ideal hotel to call home when in SF.
