"Beautiful Hotel"
Great hotel. Sketchy neighbors hood around JapanTown. Beautiful View and rooms! I suggest using the Uber App to get around Frisco... Overall, great stay! I hate that parking in the hotel cost $52 a day or if u park in the garage underneath $23 a day. Parking for people who stay should be free

"Union square gem"
Lovely hotel. Very close to shops and central to everything. Hotel has lots of character, with period features and matching decor but all in a very positive way. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice touches include wine and cheese each evening and warm cookies before bed. Breakfast is simple but should cover every taste. Excellent choice in every way

"Great hotel and great location"
Everyone we encountered was very helpful. I read reviews about having to wait a long time for the valet service to bring your car to you. They warned us it could take 25 min, so to plan ahead. It only took 10. They only thing that would have made it perfect woul be to have a fridge in the room and a breakfast of sorts. We will be back. Its a very cool looking hotel... We actually were able to walk everywhere. If you like walking up and down steep hills. Use your google maps app to help navigate around the city.China town is really close.

Native San Franciscan booked a room for the night to avoid having to drive around while partying with friends. Nice little hotel conveniently located in the middle of the city. Close by pretty much anything you can want, shopping, nightlife, restaurants. The rooms were very cute and clean. Bed was comfy. The only thing that was a downside was the noise. You can hear people walking by, doors open and close, and the AC had this constant clicking sound which can be annoying if you're a light sleeper like me. Otherwise everything else was great and enjoyable.

"Very close to Union Square."
Since this is close to Union Square, everything is close by. Lots of places to eat and even shop for. If you are very paranoid about being close to/ in the Tenderloin district, then you may want to avoid this place but frankly my experience of the locality was fantastic. The cross street (Taylor) can have a homeless people but not near Clift as it is at the bottom of Nub Hill.

The image of San Francisco’s fog-swept waterfront will stick with you long after you head for home.

Head out into the fog and visit the Ferry Building Marketplace, located along the Embarcadero on the northeastern side of the city. Not only is this the main artery for ferry traffic heading into the city, it’s also home to a wonderful farmers market full of fresh local produce, meats, and much more. You can sit down for a delicious breakfast, or stock up on goods to bring back to your hotel for later consumption. As the fog lifts, go west to the Marina District. Here’s where you’ll find upscale shopping, along with a beautiful waterfront park and a view of San Francisco Bay, Alcatraz Island, and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Any trip to the big city means a visit to Union Square is in order. It’s not just a great place for shopping, though the square is home to many prominent boutiques and department stores. It’s also full of restaurants and cafes, and there’s always something going on, including a Christmas tree and menorah lighting during the winter and art shows in the summer. The magic continues in a San Francisco boutique hotel; when you stay in one, you’ll enjoy custom styling, little touches like unique artwork, and meals cooked from locally grown produce.

No matter what time of year you decide to travel, Expedia.ca will get you there with big savings. You’ll get our Best Price Guarantee when you book a hotel in San Francisco, leaving you with more money in your pocket to spend on the important things like another fine meal at Union Square.
