“Argonaut in Fisherman's Wharf-great place to stay !”

Argonaut is a great hotel! Hotel staff were very helpful and very friendly! Rooms were clean and spacious well maintained. Beds and bedding are luxuriously comfortable... I would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay there again...

What a fantastic hotel. Great location. Right round the corner from the cable car turn around on Hyde St. Staff were so friendly, especially the door staff. Rooms were so spacious and very clean. Complimentary paper each morning which is a nice touch. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I think you would struggle to find anywhere better to stay.

“Great Hotel, great ubication”

It is a wonderful place near Fisherman's Warf, Pier 39, Girardelli Square and close enough to Pier 33, the place where ships to Alcatraz depart. It also has a very good restaurant.

“Great Wharf hotel”

I would highly recommend the Argonaut hotel. We stayed there for our 20th wedding anniversary trip to San Fran and the staff and service were outstanding. We have travelled a fair bit and found the staff friendly, the services exceptional and the room comfortable and unique. No bland biege walls and bedding here; the hotel is in an old heritage building and the recent renovation maintained the original brickwork and huge wooden beams. The hotel is bright and done in a great navy, red and white theme- refreshing! Bed was very comfortable and the room was always exceptionally clean. Staff seemed to pride themselves on offering services beyond the norm; offerred to order pizza for us one night when many of the neighbourhood restaurants were closed ( they do have room service but the menu is a bit limiting), offerred to arrange for a shuttle to the airport for us and also offerred to print our boarding passes for us. We took them up on all of it and they seemed delighted to be of help. Oh - and I neglected to mention that upon arriving in our room, a few minutes later we had a knock on the door and it was a cheery staff member with a bottle of chilling champagne and glasses for us along with a personalized card wishing us a happy anniversary! Very nice experience and for the price - amazing service.

We loved everything about this hotel! The room was spacious, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, the staff was friendly and it was close to so many great things. You can spend time walking down Jefferson avenue and around fisherman's wharf or walk around the corner to the trolley and take the trolley car wherever you need to go. First rate. Loved it!

Excellent hotel and fantastic location. I would highly recommend this hotel to all travel and lifestyle types. I could not have been happier with the accommodations--especially the hosted wine reception...a great place and time to unwind from a busy touring day. Will definitely stay at this hotel again when in San Fran! Unquestionably one of the very best.

This hotel was so nice. The room, with it's nautical theme, was roomy and very clean. The mattress was better than I have at home....loved it. The staff was accommadating and very friendly. I loved the location too. The Fisherman's Wharf area has so much to see and with the cable car right across the street, easy access to mass transit. The only thing I would change at the hotel is the restaurant. Their chowders were superb but otherwise, it wasn't up what would expect from such a great hotel.
