“Can't wait to go back...”

We had decided to get away just for a day, do some sightseeing and shopping. This was the first time staying at this hotel, and we fell in love with the nautical theme in the lobby and in the rooms. The room was on the small side, but what it lacked in space it made up for in the comfortable bed and cleanliness. I think the best part of our stay was the complimentary wine tasting in the evening where we had a chance to mingle with other guests. We had a chance to try their special hot apple cider with whiskey...so good! We will definately be returning, and bringing ourt dog since we did not realize they were pet friendly.

“Great Hotel!”

Argonaut is a great hotel! It's conveniently located in Fisherman's Wharf, very close to Ghirardelli Square. The hotel staff is very friendly and the rooms are so comfortable. I love the sailor theme!

Area recommendations

Biking the Golden Gate Bridge is a must! There's two bike rental locations just outside the hotel. The path up to the bridge is filled with fellow runners and bikers and has breathtaking views of the bridge and even Alcatraz.

“Best hotel on Fishermans Wharf!”

Hands down, the best place to stay in Fishermans Wharf. Close to cable car station, Ghirardelli Square and many great places to eat!

“Second time there. Will go back for sure!”

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. We wish we could have enjoyed a room with a view like last time but the room was very clean and conveniently located. The hotel personnel is friendly to families.

“Great Atmosphere”

Spent five days - loved the hotel and environment! Wonderful nautical decor! Their restaurant, the Blue Mermaid was very good - their chowder was the best we had in San Francisco! The free wine in the lobby every day at 5pm made for a festive air. Reasonable price. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The Crab House at Pier 39 at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco has the best crab! It's an experience in itself to go there - you smell the garlic as soon as you walk in, and if you like garlic, this is your place!

“Perfect spot along Fishermans Wharf!”

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Argonaut Hotel. We were fortunate to get an early check in, the room was very cozy, the cleanliness of the entire hotel was impeccable, and the service was top notch. The hotel location is fantastic! It's right on the edge of Fishermans Wharf and within easy access of all of San Francisco's hot spots. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this hotel to others.

“A beautiful hotel in Fishermans Wharf”

First time to San Francisco and what a perfect hotel to make our stay amazing. We flew in from Australia and were excited to see the sights of SF with ease. Location is excellent to sight see the wharf and Pier 39 and catch the F line into Union Square etc is so easy as the stop is at the end of the hotel street. I loved the nautical theme and overall ambience and interior styling of the hotel. Hotel staff were friendly, accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. I didn't want to leave!
