“OK for its purposes. But will look for different options for next time.”

Hotel was Ok. It served its purposed. It's locations is its best and worst. It is very centric, near to almost every transportation route. Very convenient, especially because a specific route leaves you just at the doorstep. However, the neighborhood is not very nice. This is only on a 1-2 block surroundings, after that you have all the tourist sites and shopping malls nearby.

“U visit a city not a hotel”

When we travel we dont plan on spending time in our hotel. If your looking for a cheap hotel that you don't plan on spending time (other then sleep) in, this is it. The room was SMALL but clean the bathroom was small but clean and it had a shampoo/body scrub dispencer instead of those little bottles that dont last a day. Short walk to the main streats to catch a bus or cable car. Didnt eat breakfast there, but there are other places close by to eat at. Neighborhood is a little shady, but nothing too bad. Irish pub down the street was awsome. Staff was neither friendly or mean/rude they did thier job and did it efficiantly. I'd stay again...but if moneys not a concern, I'd stay in the Hilton a block up.

“Not impressed”

For the same amount that I paid I could have found a better hotel.

“Pretty good cheap hotel”

Hotel is located just three blocks from Union Square in Downtown SF. Hotel is not big and we couldn't find it fast because it was another color than on the official picture. Small but clean and comfortable rooms, very very small bathroom but new equipment. I didn't feel safe walking around after dark because a lot of homeless people around. If you have just couple nights in SF and you don't have a big budget - I would recommend this hotel

“THERE IS NO WI-FI!!!!”

We had reserved a double at first but then upgraded to an efficiency king 2 days later because of a great discount. When we arrived they sent us to a double, which was the most unbelievable room I believe I've ever seen in my life! The word tiny can't begin to explain it and the windows don't stay open (which is important because there is no A/C at this hotel), I believe that was room 414 which everyone should stay away from! We settled the issue at the front desk, they tried to blame Expedia for the miscommunication 2 weeks prior! The room we ended up with was 517, considerably better! It has a small kitchenette which we requested. There is no HBO or premium channels and most importantly no WI-FI at all! That was the main reason I settled on this hotel. And 1 very strange thing, there weren't phones in either room! The area is very bad, but I'm not that scared of transients. I will say that the staff was kind.

“location gives credits”

The hotel is what you get for the money you pay. Dont expect a palace but the personnel was friendly and ok. The location is the Key. its 5-10 min walking from the center.Personally i was ok.

“Not impressed”

Although a fairly central location the hotel suffers from poor cleanliness. The sheets were not made everyday and on many occasions there were homeless people congrigating in the entrance. Must be a better place to stay, San Fran was great though!
