“Oceanside's Best Hotel”

Just returned from Wyndham's Oceanside Pier Resort and it was great. Across the street from the beach, almost brand new rooms with partial ocean views, great staff and good rates...Go!

“perfect for beach lovers”

Enjoyed the sunsets and walking along the beach. Great for families with all age kids. Playground at the beach, McDonalds,and area for surfers and swimmers. Will return on this hotel on next vacation to the area.

“It was more than what we expected.... definately would stay there again.”

We were on vacation with our son and his family and the two bedroom suite was perfect. The master bedroom and bath were awesome and having a bathroom for the other bedroom was an unexpected bonus! The kitchen area exceeded our expectations as well. If I would rate anything as "average" it would be the comfort of the sofa bed but it was "do-able" for the little kids.

“Would like stay here next time!”

Very nice hotel, clean and comfort suites. Good view from balcony. Friendly and courteous staff. Very close to beach and pier, underground parking.

“Christmas in Oceanside”

It rained the first 3 days we were there - but it is close to everything. We loved the Thursday Farmers Market and the evening fair all walking distance from the hotel. Everyone had a wonderful Christmas walking the beach and pier. The hotel is lovely. Yes we would stay there again. There is a train that comes by, we plan to use it next visit to go up the coast.

“Excellent location, beautiful hotel”

I was extremely satisfied with the hotel. Very clean, excellent service. We had no problem with any noise from the proximity of the train as stated in other reviews. Didn't hear a thing. The only recommendation I have is with all the competition from hotels they could have a continental breakfast for guests and the mattress on the foldout sofa was ok for kids, but not for an adult. However, my two gradsons did say it was not that comfortable. The hotel was pricey, but overall - very nice.

“Wonderful Hotel & Location”

The hotel was very nice and clean, the rooms spacious. The rooms had everything you needed to cook or just relax. Make sure your not too early for check in (it's at 4pm) b/c they will make you wait and are not very friendly at check in and make sure you check out at the exact time. My husband and I thought check out was at 11am but it's 10am. At 10am exactly, house keeping knocked on our door and by 10:10am the front desk was calling telling us we had to check out. Just plan accordingly if your flying or driving in. Otherwise, the location of the hotel and everything else was fantastic!

My husband and I were very impressed with our overall stay at the Wyndham-Oceanside. We received excellent customer service during our stay. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We were so happy to see how close we were to the beach! We definitely will go back!

My husband and I have lived in the area for awhile now. He just got back from a deployment and so we decided to treat ourselves to a few nights at this spectacular resort. It is right by the beach, the pier, and downtown Oceanside. Everything is within walking distance! We had a studio room (1 King bed) and it was just perfect for us! We loved everything and were in awe of how colorful, tidy, and wonderful everything was. We highly recommend the place to anyone visiting Oceanside or Camp Pendleton.
