“GREAT”

we stayed at this hotel during a family trip to sea-world. The hotel is very sleek and classy and has an overall clean look to it. The staff was very attentive and seem to go out over there way to make our stay as pleasant as possible,

“W Hotel San Diego”

Expedia offered a great rate for the "W" and it was worth to go there. Those who like modern arts, and won't mind some fancy stylish design are right here. Great beach style bar on the roof which makes it a meeting point for trendy people living or working in the area. Staff was very friendly, not arrogant as you sometimes find it in trend places like this one.

“Classy, Hip and very Cosmopolitan”

The W continues to be one of my favorite places to stay. If you haven't stayed at one I highly encourage it. It is much different than any other hotel experience!!

“Hippness in the SD”

The W is a hip trendy hotel in downtown San Diego conveniently located within walking distance of the train station. The staff is young but capable and friendly. The room is a little too small but comfortable. It is worth the stay.

“Greatest stay ever at any hotel!”

This hotel was amazing! Being part of the younger crowd, it was just my style and super hip. Party central if you ask me! Only for those who want to stay young :) The hotel was amazing, and from the very start I got a great vibe. Our carhop/bellhop was so friendly and nice, gave us great insider tips for our stay. Entering the hotel, it smells wonderful and looks fantastic. We had the 15th floor view, so that was nice, and everything was so clean and hip! Our room was just a standard Wonderful room with kind bed, but it still had a wonderful feel to the room. Beach ball pillow and everything :) hoursekeeping was great, restocked all the bath products every day and kept us happy. IF you need ANYTHING, the hotel offers a Whatever/Whenever service! And really, they mean it and dont hesitate! You get your car right when you need it as well. I think the vallet parking fee was well worth it for the quality. There is nowhere else to park either way, so you get great service for the price! EVERYTHING is in walking distance, no matter what you want to do. You can ever take the trolley for a cheap price if you dont want to walk. I LOVE THIS HOTEL!!!!! I will forever look for a W hotel whenever I travel.

“W is for Wonderful!”

We arrived at the hotel early (about 12:30 local time) and fully expected that our room would not be available until after 3. We were very pleasantly surprised to find that our room was completely ready! The desk staff was very friendly and accomodating, even asking if we were members of the Westin Preferred club so that we would get credit for our stay. We were in a Cool Corner room and it was just beautiful. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, there was a great view of San Diego, and the bathroom with its huge soaking tub was luxurious. That night we went down to investigate the restaurant and when we mentioned to the hostess that we were vegetarian, she went through the menu and told us what they could modify for us. When we asked about Thai food in the area, she gave us an enthusiastic recommendation. We ended up going to that restaurant and it was awesome! I would stay at the W San Diego again in a heartbeat :)

“W San Diego - Windy City Point of View”

From the moment I stepped foot inside the W San Diego, from the moment I left, I was impressed. Every staff member I encountered were both professional and friendly. The rooms were nice and beds were comfortable. As a religious coffee drinker, I did find it surprising not to find a small coffee maker in the room. Regarding location, the hotel is about a $12 cab ride to/from the airport, minutes from the Gaslamp district...and walking distance from Littly Italy.
