“Not staying again”

There were no towels when we checked into our room. When we returned after being gone on the 2nd day, there were, once again, no towels left in the room after the room was cleaned. There were also ants and other insects in the room. The location was convenient, but that's about the only plus.

“Clean and quiet”

Went to see a concert at the Cricket Wirelss and the hotel location was very convenient. Great for the price.

“Would deffinately stay again”

This is a REALLY decent hotel for not being one of the higher end hotels. From front desk to maid, the service was very friendly and welcoming. After searching hours for a good deal on hotels for my recent stay in San Diego and to my disappointment, finding out that las Vegas hotel rates are better; to my surprise this hotel really was a bang for my buck. Real clean room, air conditioning that worked, a little on the small side as far as room size but it wasn't a big deal. There was a lot around, food wise so that was nice after the trip back from the zoo and sea world. The area around isn't RODEO Dr or anything but it isn't the ghetto either. Already recommended a friend!

“Bad place, good location”

This was a great location! Convenient, close to everything, easy freeway access. And a good price. However, yuck. The hotel rooms weren't cleaned well and were outdated. By day 3 we had a little ant issue and getting enough towels wasn't easy. The neighborhood isn't super, but it was ok.

“Nice comfortable room, just a few issues.”

When I first arrived, there was just one guy at the front desk serving some other guest, and it took too long. I don't like being kept waiting. seems like a mickey mouse hotel, should have more staff to serve people fast. The room was nice, spacious, big bathroom too. They have free wifi that works well, so that's a big plus. Here are the problems: Only one electrical outlet in an inconvenient spot, the fridge makes noise in the middle of the night that kept me up; not good, but it's in the bathroom and if you close the door, its' not as loud. Good cleaning service while you're out. A little too far from the trolley station. Overall, okay but I'd probably go for one of the 5 other hotels next year, that are much closer to the trolley station.

“I would go back again”

Hotel was nice and clean. The only problem I had was connecting to a network. Other than that, I would use a Vagabond hotel again.

“Good location and quality for less money!!!”

Good location of the hotel is the most important thing for me - exactly 10 min from Downtown and 10 min from the border. Nice and safe area, a huge parking lot, swimming pool and jacuzzi... I was kinda disappointed of room service but anyway I enjoyed my stay there and totally honest I can reccomend you this hotel for your short-term stay in San Diego!

“reasonable hotel”

The hotel itself was clean. The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. It was basically rolls from the store and coffee. It could have been more substantial. We could not use the hot tub as it was not working (heater was broke) and I think the heater for the pool was too as it was cool to the touch. It maybe did not have a heater. Hotel guests stood outside their room smoking and laughing until 4:30 in morning. Night manager should have heard them. The tv remote was missing from the room and they found another the next day. There was also a cobweb in the bathroom but it could have happened that day. For the price, I think the hotel was ok and it was close to where I needed to be.

“would definitely stay here again.”

Was skeptical at first about staying in this location. However, found the accommodations to be very nice and would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend to others. Staff was very helpful with directions. Love the area of Chula Vista and hope to come visit again soon.
