“Another Trip to San Diego -”

We decided on Travelodge this time because it was relatively inexpensive on such short notice and considering the season. It was only a few more yards further than a comparable motel we normally book. The motel itself has a good layout, ample parking, POOL, a decent view, ice machines, plenty of vending machines, and the rooms are large. This particular room did not have the usual motel smell, so that was a plus. It was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The ONLY problem we encountered was an ant problem. But nothing that we couldn't live with. The room has a coffee maker and blow dryer. Check-in and check-out were both hassle-free and the staff was courteous. One thing I like about this location is that you can drive down the street to Old Town and you don't have to take the freeway to get there, although Freeway access is another plus worth mentioning. You can also 'park and ride' at Old Town Trolley and go downtown or to Seaport Village without having to drive. We would definitely like to stay here again. There are also 2 or 3 restaurants here, although we have yet to try them.

We asked for a quiet room and we got it. Everything that we had asked for was given to us. However, I have arthritis. The mattresses are very firm, which was great for people with back problems, but they do not support sore joints. Had I had the presence of the mind, I would have asked for a rollaway bed and saved myself a lot of pain! Everything else was wonderful.

“Good Value”

Clean motel. Ask for a room in the back. We didn't hear the freeway at all. Pretty good hotel for the value. We've stayed their before, we'll stay there again. Close to the zoo, Sea World and many restaurants.

“Enjoyed our stay!”

We enjoyed our stay and room was so comfortable! Bathroom left a few things to be desired, but hey we can be a lil high maintenance at times. Just don't eat at the restaurant there. We tried to eat breakfast there and I hardly touched myfood. We would have rather found a IHop or something.

“Quiet and big room”

The biggest room we had in our 7 day CA trip. It is located nearby many hotels in the same street. Room is cozy and parking is right in front of a room. There are few restaurants in same area but we went to dine in downtown.

“Travellodge Mission Valley”

This hotel was very close to all of the must sees in San Diego. The restaurant next to the hotel served a wonderful breakfast and everyone was extremely friendly.

“Great value in San Diego”

This motel is in a great location. It has easy access to many of San Diego's attractions. It is easy to get to off of the interstates and on a reasonably quiet street. The staff was friendly and professional. The room was nicely done and the bed was very comfortable. The pool was well kept and easy for all to use. Definitely a very good bargain for a stay in San Diego.

We liked it very much. It is very centrally located and well maintained. I also appreciated the free wireless high speed internet service that they provided.
