“Awesome Hotel”

My husband and I went here for our 10 year anniversary trip. It was an awesome hotel... exceptionally clean, comfortable, and great location. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the restaurant on-site was wonderful as well.

“Where your room is always ready.”

My boyfriend and I stayed here on a Saturday night. We flew in early Saturday morning and were just expecting to have the front desk hold our bags until check in time...but the girl at the front desk told us our room was ready and we could check in! Definitely a pleasant surprise. There is no pool at the hotel, but a lovely sundeck that has a great view of the beach and boardwalk. Room was modern and minimalist, and the bed was really comfortable. We had a nice view of the sunset and beach from our 'partial ocean-view' room. Room service was reasonably priced, tasty, and delivered on time. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back to this hotel.

“Already planing my next trip”

The hotel staff were very friendly, and informative. The room was fantastic, the bed was like sleeping on soft butter, we didn't want to get up in the morning. We had a very nice stay everything was perfect, from our view of the water, and boardwalk, to sitting on the Tower deck sipping martinis enjoying the fire and listening to the surf. We cant wait to return.

“Excellent boutique hotel on the beach!”

Excellent property all around - extremely comfortable beds with superb linens, very clean room with upscale furnishings and appointments, friendly staff, and View View View. Great (no, I mean REALLY great) "patio" on the 2nd floor overlooking the ocean. Sliding glass door from our 2nd floor room opened out onto the patio with fireplace, lounge chairs, and water features. Restaurant/bar was HAPPENIN' on Saturday night - very hip be-and-be-seen kind of place. Extremely limited noise levels reached our room on the 2nd floor, but didn't keep us from sleeping soundly.

“Tower23 Exceptionally Good”

My room was better than expected! Hotel staff was excellent. Jrdn restaurant staff not up to expectations, but the food was fine. There was enough to do in the nearby Pacific area for four days that I did not need a car. Hotel interior nicely designed by the same architect that did the Hard Rock Hotel, Gaslamp. But for some reason, there are steps or ramps at every floor from the elevator to the rooms! I hope to return.

“A little ZEN in the middle of Pacific Beach”

We loved the feel of this hotel. The crisp stark white and simplistic design was so relaxing, not to mention the amazing bouquets of flowers through out the hotel and the striking artwork. Be sure to walk around the entire hotel to see all of these. The restaurant was beautiful & the food was great especially the "starters", we had the Sliders and Pitas twice. Expensive but we were prepared for that. There is lots of items in your room that if you use you will be charged "an arm & a leg" for so check out the prices before you partake. Same goes for the TV options - way to expensive so we avoided them. Parking is a little bit of a hassel but not too bad. Great coffee shops all around for breakfast! Fun shopping for the girls! I wasn't thrilled with the beach, there is a large pier that you cannot go out on that impacted the view but we got used to it. We had a room with a Full Ocean view - that made all the difference since it was so cold out we spent allot of time in there just watching the waves.

“Amazing beachfront hotel experience!!”

Tower 23 is literally steps away from the beach, boardwalk, and pier at Pacific Beach. Our room ( a sky pad) looked out over the ocean and was amazing. The hotel staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The hotel is also within walking distance to many local eateries with excellent food. All in all, this was one of the best hotels we've stayed at and I can't wait to stay there again!!

“Will definitely return!”

Right on the Beach in the Pacific Beach area. Minimalist decor which is so clean and comforting. Comfy beds with white down filled comforters. Lovely little touches. Large firepit with bar service. Quiet. Excellent. Will return.

“Best in Pacific Beach!”

The hotel is the chic'est in the area! We had an ocean view and loved the sound of the waves and the cool breeze. This is not a family friendly hotel but the surrounding area offers plenty for familys to do. The rooms are small but very well designed. The beds are comfortable and cozy. We did not eat at JRDN but did order off the menu on the 2nd floor patio. Prices were as expected and the food was very well done. We stayed here over a Saturday night wedding reception on the first floor terrace/wine room. It was lound but stopped by a reasonable hour.
