this hotel is awesome! From the minute we got out of the car the staff was top notch. Very attentive to every detail and every need. Very clean. Food was delicious..coffee every mornng in lobby before restaurant opens was awesome-spa delightful-beautiful scenery on property-beds really comfortable

“Excellent Hotel!”

I recently spent 5 nights at the Lodge. It was a very pleasurable and relaxing experience. The rooms were great, service was impeccable. The immediate vicinity of the hotel doesn't have much going on in terms of food and entertainment, but La Jolla village is close enough.

“Fantastic Hotel”

Hotel is fantastic. Beautiful spacious rooms. Top notch. Service superb (except at the pool which can be unattentive and slow). Only complaint is $22 for self parking. Seems a bit steep to park your own car. At least there wasn't a resort fee or charge to use the hotel gym. Highly recommend walking from the hotel to Torrey Pines State Park (which is right next to the hotel) for a nice hike/walk to the beach and back.

Hotel stay was lovely. Nice extra touches for a very comfortable, relaxing stay. Restaurant dining was enjoyable, however prices a bit over the top.

We had a great time at this grand hotel! We have stayed there at least five times for a week at a time and have always had a great experience! The hotel staff are friendly and helpful! The spa is wonderful! The golf is unbelievable! The views of the Pacific are awesome! Just a fabulous time!

My family and I had a wonderful time and good experience at this lodge. The hiking down to the ocean was phenomenal. The lodge was exceptional. The breakfast(s)were great. Room service was great. Our kids loved the pool and underwater speakers. Service at pool was just "ok." Very cool experience as being in a lodge atmosphere on the ocean. Make sure you make your tee time 2 weeks in advance for the golf course(s)or you will have to get up by 5 AM to be down to stand in a line to get play for the day. I did that and I did not get tee time but the North Course was closed that day so that probably influenced me not getting a tee time. I recommend this lodge if you have the money to spend and can enjoy all it has to offer. Enjoy your stay there as my wife, 2 boys-six and eight, enjoyed ours.
