“We will definitely be back!”

We usually stay at one of the larger hotels in the Gaslamp area but decided to try something a little more budget friendly. We were prepared to give up a few things in hopes of saving money. To our surprise we had a much more comfortable stay and managed to save money in the process. We found free parking right out front, there is a small and free lot available if there isn't any street parking. We were greeted by Mary who had just made fresh brownies. She showed us our room and accomadations. The room looked exactly like the picture, which was cozy and romantic! Breakfast each morning was included and delicious. We were centrally located and enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back!

“Charming with a 4 star breakfast.”

This bed and breakfast puts the wow factor in breakfast The head chef was filling in for the owner so we were treated to the culinary delights of a student chef who was interning there. Both made us feell very welcomed.

“Mixed feelings”

On the plus side- the staff and food was the best we experienced on our trip. Having the chef attend culinary school definitely showed. On the negative side, the hotel does not have a/c so our room was 81 degrees at night. Also, our particular room had the bathroom down the hall- not very convenient. All this said we would go back (not in August and choose one of the other rooms) .
