“Good choice”

This is a smaller hotel that has been preserved in its historical manner. It is about two blocks to the convention center and the much more expensive bigger hotels. The restaurant is not open very long, but they are right by the fifth avenue strip that has lots of bars and hotels.

“Great facility.”

This hotel is well situated in the Gaslamp District of San Diego. Everything about it is charming. Although it does not have food service, it is in EASY walking distance to restaurants and night spots. On a Friday night when we were there, the line-up crowd at the night spot across the street was a little noisy,but did not bother us. We walked to the Padres ball park with no fear or discomfort. Highly recommended!

“Horton Grand Hotel”

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lot of character and the location was excellent - within easy walking distance of many activities.
