“best hotel to stay at”
out of all of the hotels this hotel was my best experience. a very big room with free internet and a table to sit at to do do computer work and a dining table all in ur big room. i really liked their breakfast which was an actuall full breakfast, u make the waffles with the waffle maker and already made waffle mix, toast, cereal, muffins juice, cofee. WARNING the only bad thing i dealt with my first night of being there was they gave me a smokers room which smelled so bad wife and i felt like puking, make sure that issue is taken care of before u go there, we got moved to another room next morning and everything went perfectly from there
“Not Near Wild Animal Park”
This place was way overpriced. About 30 years old, clean, semi-quiet (with the air going all night). At least 15 miles away from the Wild Animal Park. Photo is misleading, they refaced the front buildings, the rest are old looking. Pool is next to smoking rooms. Would only stay again if nothing else in San Diego County was available.
“Clean bargain hotel”
Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed, refrigerator and microwave. Cons: The roomy was warm and musty when we arrived. It aired out fairly well before we came back for the evening. Advice: The continental breakfast is in the small lobby; get there early if you want a table and a fresh waffle Overall a decent stay. Not a great neighborhood, but I didn't feel unsafe.
“hoochie-ville”
The hotel looked good on the outside but the rooms were older and had that old room stintch. There was also water in the tub. There were alot of people outside and noticed the clientle seemed to us to working girls around. We would not go back. The location in terms of amenities was great.
“Thank you Super 8 staff your great!”
Friendly Staff,Clean, good place to stay, reasonable price.
“wild park zoo stay”
overall, it was alright, the workers were helpful and nice.
“WORSE PLACE TO STAY”
The place looked awful. The orange juice maker had juice but did not work at all and it seems that it has been broken for quite a while with out been fix at all and they didn't even offer to get cartons of juice either. The room did not have enough toilet paper, we had to ask for another roll. The hair blow dryer did not work properly. The room did not have a bible available to read. Every hotel we had stayed always had a bible available except this one. The parking lot did not looked safe at night.
“Good place to crash”
The Super 8 Wild Animal Park is not actually all that close to the W.A.P. and in a less-nice part of town, but it is very convenient to Interstate 15 and SR78. It's about 20-25 minutes to... anywhere in the greater San Diego area you might want to be (less traffic). I stay here for business since it's economical, clean, reasonably comfortable and well located for my purposes.
“Ok stay if you are on a budget”
This hotel was nice. Bed was very comfortable. A/C worked great! Room had a nice TV, fridge, microwave and a coffee pot with all the fixings. Room was quiet. The pool looked clean however not the jacuzzi. Some kids were having fun for a few hours it seemed. My only hesitation was that I did not care for it's location. I did not feel safe and once I was in my room I did not leave till after morning. The continental breakfast looked fine if you are into carbs. I was on the 3rd floor. It seems as if the floors below are reserved for, let's say more permanent guest who looked a bit rough. The price was perfect for me. I was on business but was paying out of pocket due to the recession and recent cut backs.
“will definitely visit here again! thanx for the great stay!”
their friendly staff was very helpful & accomodating; the room was rather spacious & comfortable; they have a very nice, clean pool & spa; their daily continental breakfast was very fresh & filling, plus the self-serve waffles were really tasty/delicious! they are also very close & convenient to local attractions, restaurants & roads to/from vegas. best of all, they were really affordable for a family on a budget and well worth it. we really enjoyed ourselves!
