“Great place for a good price”
This was the most conveniently priced hotel I could find to stay for my San Diego trip. It was not too far from the Zoo and Beaches and was a reasonable price. The staff was nice and friendly. The rooms were impressive for such a good price. I would go back.
“The building is new, but the parking is too small.”
Our 2011 Odyssey almost could not fit to the parking. The staff was nice to pulled out his car, so we had two cars' parking space to drive the big van in the spot.
“Will NEVER go back!!”
The hotel is not in the safest area. The room was dirty from front to end. The sheets, carpet, bathroom. Yea NEVER going back! There are way better hotels just 3-5minutes away!
“Meh”
Better than I expected any super 8 to be but still had visible cheap fixes all over the place.
“Decent hotel for the price”
We chose this hotel based on the proximity to a trolley station that offered parking as we were in town for Comic Con. The hotel was clean, relatively quiet and convenient to both the trolley station and several restaurants. In fact I would highly recommend the Mediterranean restaurant located next door. Housekeeping was mindful of the do not disturb sign and the front desk clerk was also helpful with recommendations on beaches and where to go to catch the ferry to Coronado Island. Overall it's a very good hotel for the price.
“Hamed”
Great experience. everything was good except 2: - No laundry, but there are some laundries close to the hotel... so it is not so important. - There is just 6 seats for breakfast, and when I wanted to bring the breakfast to my room, one of the staffs told me that I can not bring these stuff to my room!! but other staffs was so friendly.
“Looks can be deceiving.”
The neighborhood looks some what sketchy. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the interior condition of the hotel. The hotel not only has comfortable beds, with modern style bathrooms, and decent size LCD tv. The hotel is kept in very good condition, super clean, and free parking. The only downside to my stay was limited parking if you get to your hotel very late. You might find yourself having to park across the street. In addition, the internet speed is very slow and frequently disconnections. Overall, it's an excellent hotel that exceeded my expectation from a super 8.
“Not your typical Super 8”
We were very pleased with the motel. We selected it based on good reviews and were not disappointed. It is in an excellent location with quick access to both I-8 and HWY 94 which made getting into downtown San Diego a 15 minute drive. The room was small, but comfortable and quiet. The bathroom had been upgraded with granite countertops and new fixtures. It also had a refrigerator, microwave, cofee maker, flat screen TV and free WIFI. The bed wasa comfortable and had upgraded bedding. My only suggestions for improving are to provide at least 4 bath towels and lighten up on the sanitizer. The motel is family owned and operated and the family members were all exceedinly helpful in recommending good restaurants, printing out menus and maps and concerned that their guests had a pleasant experience. This is by far the nicest Super 8 type motel we have every encountered and would not hesitate to stay hear again or recommend it to family or friends.
“Great hotel at a great price”
This is a very nice place to stay if you are in the San Diego area. The rooms were super clean and the hotel staff was friendly. I have stayed at other 2 star hotels a number of times and this was by far the best experience. I will surely stay here if I visit this area again.
“You get what you pay for”
We had a great time. Great price. The only thing I would change would be the location. It was a little weird that it was in a residential area but other than that, it was fine.
