“Hamed”
Great experience. everything was good except 2: - No laundry, but there are some laundries close to the hotel... so it is not so important. - There is just 6 seats for breakfast, and when I wanted to bring the breakfast to my room, one of the staffs told me that I can not bring these stuff to my room!! but other staffs was so friendly.
“better than it looked !”
arrived there late afternoon and thought "hmmm, not sure if i like the look of this area(area looked a little run down , but was ok for the 3 nights we stayed)check in was a breeze and the rooms were in very good condition and the tidiest we enjoyed all trip . the bathroom was stocked with more than just soap(moisturizer,toothpaste... and not small amounts) the beds were the best we encountered in our whole trip(3 other hotels). the front desk people were extra helpful on where to shop for food ("down past the first block of shops, and the next block is what you want" ) and directions to downtown tourist places. Breakfast was fine(fruit, pastries, muffins and coffee). "you get what you pay for" and we felt we got more than what we expected ! we would stay there again.
“Great place for a good price”
This was the most conveniently priced hotel I could find to stay for my San Diego trip. It was not too far from the Zoo and Beaches and was a reasonable price. The staff was nice and friendly. The rooms were impressive for such a good price. I would go back.
“Great hotel at a great price”
This is a very nice place to stay if you are in the San Diego area. The rooms were super clean and the hotel staff was friendly. I have stayed at other 2 star hotels a number of times and this was by far the best experience. I will surely stay here if I visit this area again.
“Comfy beds & great service!”
The room was very nice. Comfy beds and linens (I'm very picky). Nice flat screen tv. Smelled fresh. Friendly & helpful staff. All rooms are on the 2nd floor. Awesome $5 two-topping pizza's next door at Greek restaurant. Weinersnitzel & Jack In The Box across the street for late night cravings. Would definately stay again!
“Great for walking to nearby restaraunts and entertainment.”
Neither flashy nor glitsy, but more like a favorite pair of old shues. I may have been the millionth guest, but was welcomed like the first. Office and Housekeeping staff - were attentive, but not in your face.
“Worth the stay and the price.”
The staff went out of their way to help locate places for me that I needed to go. They gave me print-out driving direction along with a map. Great service; the best I have ever had - anywhere. The breakfest was a little weak, but for the price it is not to be complained about. I usually just eat fruit anyway. I would definetly go back just because of how nice the front desk person was.
“Would Stay Here Again and Again”
This hotel was GREAT! Newly remodeled rooms, super comfortable beds, extremely nice staff! Would stay here again! Great value for the price. Parking was not a problem, coffee maker, fridge and microwave in the room. The only "bad" thing to point out was that the water temperature in the shower was not very hot, but it wasn't uncomfortable either. Will stay here again!
“Nice time had by all”
This little hotel is just minutes from the freeway but you can't hear the traffic noise. Clean and comfortable and the staff was most helpful when they were needed. Would surely go back again if I need to stay in the area.
“Not your typical Super 8”
We were very pleased with the motel. We selected it based on good reviews and were not disappointed. It is in an excellent location with quick access to both I-8 and HWY 94 which made getting into downtown San Diego a 15 minute drive. The room was small, but comfortable and quiet. The bathroom had been upgraded with granite countertops and new fixtures. It also had a refrigerator, microwave, cofee maker, flat screen TV and free WIFI. The bed wasa comfortable and had upgraded bedding. My only suggestions for improving are to provide at least 4 bath towels and lighten up on the sanitizer. The motel is family owned and operated and the family members were all exceedinly helpful in recommending good restaurants, printing out menus and maps and concerned that their guests had a pleasant experience. This is by far the nicest Super 8 type motel we have every encountered and would not hesitate to stay hear again or recommend it to family or friends.
